For two reasons. First of all, what would you do? I love box cutters and looking at pictures of your family while jumping out of a 110 story tower as much as the next guy, but the game would probably suck. And second, why would you play a game about the killing of almost 3,000 innocent people and the harm it caused to millions of lives all across the world? And no it's not hypocritical as we're talking about the killing of innocent people, not the Nazis, terrorists, or any of those fun people...
If the argument was over Killzone he probably would've blown up his house!

Does anyone else think that the whole 4th paragraph is just, like, wrong? As far as I know Gears 3 hasn't been announced, Unreal Engine 4 is going to only be for the next-next-gen consoles, and isn't the max amount of players in Gears online 10 (5 vs. 5), not 18? Is that paragraph just completely wrong, or did I miss some pretty big stuff going down?
OnLive is (will be) a bunch of really powerful servers that are, in fact, PCs, so yeah... even counting OnLive Crysis is still only on the PC.
I'm not stupid, I know what it does, it basically stops almost all of your computer's background processes, and if I had anti-virus software at all in the first place, which I don't as I've never gotten a single virus on my computer in the past 5 years of doing fun (probably illegal, but that's not the point) stuff on the internet, I know that that'd be stopped too. I really don't need those processes running, so yeah, I downloaded it and will use it when I play games, and be completely safe ...
I was expecting black magic too, but all it did was free up 150MB of RAM and lower my CPU usage. Ah well...
And now I'm really pissed and really happy at the same time because I busted my balls getting that to work with my Intel, and than these buttheads go and make my life easy. Damn it! :)
I think I'll go buy 3 more PS3s just to turn them on during Earth Hour, then burn them to create a hole in the Ozone. That's just me though.

I thought the writing in Fallout 3 was pretty good, and the Biblical references were cool and stuff, but it definitely wasn't the best in the category. My vote would have to be MGS4; it was like the best 20-hour movie if ever watched, and I mean that in a good way :)

Alright, that makes some more sense to me. All I know is that Crysis is beautiful and Killzone is beautiful, and I can play both of them so I'm happy. (I also like how Killzone's beauty costs about a bazillion and a half dollars less than Crysis's, but that's a whole nother story, hehe)
How well the PS3 (or 360) handles and engine has nothing to do with how "powerful" it is, just how well the developers create/optimize it. If this engine is well coded/optimized for the PS3, and it's looking like it is from this DEMO, it'll run fine, as will it on the 360, which makes me happy :)
