i suppose playing oblivion with a better frame rate would be a bit more enjoyable.
" The analyst detailed a significant number of warnings over the future of publisher Take-Two, including concern about profitability, the performance of the rest of its gaming portfolio and the possible loss of key creative staff."
maybe it has nothing to do with the other games coming out at the same time? maybe they're just running short on ideas and aren't feeling too confident about GTA4 right now??
they better come out with some sort of external hdmi outputs, because that's absolute BS if I would need to buy another 360 in order to get hdmi.
those are all games that stopped selling or never really did. they lower the price to try sell these dusty games... people just look for paranoia, it's honestly disgusting.
the colors look really washed out.
hd-dvd, blu-ray... just make good games.
WHO CARES.
unless you have stock in microsoft, or there's some fear that the 360's future looks bleak, i wouldn't bother my time with this crap. MS already have a good install base which is already a gurantee for fantastic games in the future... and likewise with Sony. Competition is good people, why does no one see that? Let MS, Sony, and Nintendo duke it out and try to make us want to buy their stuff... i mean honestly, does everyone want just one company to control console gaming? ...
"a dublin-based market research firm.."
because we should care sooo much what these guys have to say.
i think this generation of gaming will come down to having a few really, really great AAA titles. the average casual consumer, as stated in the article, certainly just enjoys games like madden... but they are also a part of the struggling economy. the average casual gamer simply cant afford a ps3, and if they somehow could... they wouldnt have many games. which is why i think the 360 is doing so well... they have four or five games out that are really great and you can get a whole lot of repl...
.... to download extra content for a game that no one has.
keep telling yourself that.
empty your bank account, dump all of it into the toilet, take a nice juicy crap on it, and flush.
everyone loves the MP but complains about the campaign... yet apparently the majority of epic's focus was on the campaign. hilarious.
LOL!
even though it really counts for nothing.... i wouldnt put all of my eggs in one basket... especially when that basket is $600.
because all of these HD players need HDTV'S to play them... and if i'm not mistaken, the number of hdtv's in homes across america is still much smaller than standard def. hdtv's need to come down in price... then hd players will start getting sold.
IMPRESSED.
it sounds like a 12 yr old wrote the dialogue. if i'm gonna play a "next gen" rpg, i'm going to want an immersive story... not the same watered down crap that's been recycled into the same game over and over again.
i played the demo for about 5 minutes before i erased it.
any game with this many exploits and lag issues simply isn't worth the time to try and fix and patch up, because you won't ever fix the real problem - lag. i realize there are lag issues in every MP game on live, but come on, gears is just flat out terrible when it comes to lag. this is a great game and i can't get enough of horde, but when it comes to mp i'll probably just stick with halo 3.
