The first was an excellent game and a lot of fun. In my opinion sandbox game of the year last year. It just didn't light the fires on the sales charts. If you haven't played it yet, you can find used copies for very cheap and it's well worth it. I can't wait for part 2....
The first was very much under appreciated. It was a surprise and a great all around game, dare I say sandbox game of the year really. Looking forward to this for sure.

The way I understood it the only time they use covers in Rock Band is when there is no workable master and I’d have to assume this is the case with Working man and the Coheed song. It happens, not much Harmonix can do about it beyond not using the songs period. That would be a shame as this is a great little pack here. Three good songs and cover or not, more RUSH is a good thing for a game like Rock Band, lol.
Resistance 2 definitely! I'm a little unsure of KZ2 as of yet. The first was a bit of a disappointment but we shall see. As for HAZE, I'm still interested but it was never a buy so the wait is trivial at best. Sounds like an interesting idea but so did Timeshift, Turok, Area 51, Stranglehold, etc... You get the picture. I hope Ubisoft proves me wrong!
I could easily see the 40gb dropping to the $299 price point to compete with the Premium 360 package & Sony pushing out a 120gb or so "top of the line" PS3 w/ an HDMI Cable, limited bc and no multi-card reader in the same price range as the elite 360.

This and LEGO Batman are looking pretty fun. They've expanded on the moves that were available in the Star Wars game so we should end up with a pretty cool, non FPS adventure game. They always did good with the tongue-in-cheek jokes, etc. in LEGO Star wars and I'd expect the same here.
It does get a little annoying and you do get knocked down quite a bit. I don't think it was as straight up bad as the reviewer made it out to be, but it really isn't worth the $60. If it were around $40, I'd consider it but as of now it is nothing more than a weekend rental.

Easy? Hell even more recently go back and play CoD4 on Veterans. Trust me gaming is not getting easier, game makers are just making the "Normal" setting more friendly to the growing number of casual gamers. The hardcore gamers experience is as easy a cranking up the difficulty.
Played the PS3 demo and this game is just bland! I'd put it on the shelves next to Blacksite & Timeshift. Ok for what they are but just another FPS that really should be sold at $40 price point instead of $60. Bland voice-over work, terrible lighting and buggy controls. This is not the game to bring back the Turok franchise at all. All my opinion obviously but this is a weekend rental, not something I'd spend hard earned money or free time on.
I've been holding off a long time on PSP but with the GPS add-on and the talk of being able to transfer your personal blu-ray purchases to it along with some choice games this year it may be just about time to put the DS down for a bit.

I've been an HD-DVD supporter since day one and just recently a dual-format supporter. I am glad to see one of the big companies finally make a move. That is odd as there isn't a Wii version this year and it is still up in the air as to if and when a Wii version will show up next year, plus there will not be downloadable content on the Wii. Nintendo does not offer it. USB dongle or not, I want online co-op/competition AND downloadable content.

How is the PS3's hardware more friendly? If anything it is obvious that Harmonix did not or could not work out a wireless setup for 360. Fine, we've known that for a long time. Being a 360 owner and a GHII & III owner I can definitely see why the Wii version is selling well. The Wii is a system 100% based on interactive peripherals. It makes perfect sense that a game as popular as the GH series would kick butt on the Wii. I think it will continue to be a good seller through X-mas as well. I think this is a definite fail on Harmonix/MTV part, not 360’s. It odd that Red Octane could get a wireless guitar for 360 and Rock band couldn’t? Good stuff! I'm a 360 guy only at the moment but I'm definitely interested in the game and also hearing what the PS3 owners have to say about it after the demo. I honestly do hope it is as good as it's looking to be! This may be a reason to get another PS3.
This game has surprised the hell out of me. The co-op is a blast and easily one of the better co-op experiences I've had gaming in a long time. Well worth a buy for sure!
