Absolutely! the whole world does, its a proven fact... but speaking on behalf of PS4 players, this series is no longer offering anything new, when we're done with Uncharteds(4 and the excellent previous 3 in the big HD collection for the PS4), and further burnt up by the likes of Far Crys or Assasssin's Creeds... TR only appears more of the same, and this one esp. looks like just an expansion pack on the previous iteration.

Almost felt like Uncharted 2's Tibetan village, only way more expanded from the PS3 game... but still the viusuals aren't packing a punch, that's sad considering how previous 2 TRs were plain stunners!
Even informed people knew the disasters of xb1 and MS behind it... informed blogs are filled with how DRM was promoted at launch, how 'Kinect' was the MS' "vision" for the future (hahaha), how everything was going to be cloud powered, how MS deliberately made xb1 weaker with TV in mind (:O)... and all that summed up:
Xb1 sold 3M at launch, based upon the expectations from xb360, and kept falling down ever since all due to launch 'vision' fiasco...

You see its touching 7 million, and is only down y-o-y because it reached around 8 million in 2017... so basically its not due to lack of interest or competition, PS4 is in a league of its own...
I played and ended the first one on nullDC 3 years back, couldn’t run the 2nd one. I played the hell out of it and made such sweet memories some of which even Yakuza games could never have equalled, and that is saying a lot!

With Spiderman, gap will grow, with Forza it'll be either maintained or slightly narrowed... Halo/Gears/Ori??? we don't even know when that'll happen... next year, with definite exclusives marked for the whole year by Sony, the gap will only grow.

those HUGE UPGRADES are NOWHERE to be found!, ... the dev who left Rare and proclaimed the whole product remained barebones in over 4 years development time still remains so...I think he's right...
in months over months of proclaiming 'the updates are coming', there hasn't actually been anything, that shark/megalodon patch was a mediocre, short period, plain and simple update that hardly warranted any attention.....
Nah, starchild you're just getting insecure here, this Anthem crap DOES look mediocre at best... AC Origins was totally loved here, so has been Far Cry 5 and anticipation for Red Dead 2 is through the sky here at N4G... but tell you what, Sony's exclusive do have made an impact that has spoiled the biggest gaming demographic right now i.e. 80+ million people... now taking down mech beasts in HZD does put all this mech suit weapon shootout to mediocrity ;)

I love these digital foundry articles/videocasts, and its amazing how every PS4 exclusive is a cut above the rest of the gaming industry offerings, we've seen sh!teload of hardware offerings from every corner of the industry, but its the PS4 exclusives that the digital foundry always finds like "NEW TECH SHOWCASE", or "NEW POWERHOUSE" titles to award with... really shows what amazing advents Sony's are pulling off esp. in this gen!

It does not need a 'Pro' for a game to look gorgeous, look at Horizon, god of war or even Detroit... even their non-Pro versions are a cut above the rest of the industry offerings, you could put Go-Sudoku on 4K, would it become automatically more gorgeous? ;)
Hehe I say this guy is blowing steam just to sell the 'oh-so-clearly-Origins-rep ainted' product on the biggest install-base... making exclusive deals with the biggest marketshare always sells the produ...
Spidey, TLoU2, DS to name a few... will definitely make PS4 jump the ladder right behind PS2... now THAT is a lot of units sold... I'm sure they'll cross over Wii and even the PS1.
