I can see the comparison. SoA is another fantastic game.
It's my personal favorite from the Ys games I've played. Really a gem in the genre.
As I wrote in the review, it takes close to 45 minutes to actually hit gameplay... It is a shame. I think a lot more people would get into if they gave it the time, especially if you enjoy the genre.
Not yet! Sounds like it was pretty awesome. We'll have to check it out. We're excited, too! It drops March 22nd.
YES to the pickle! We're looking forward to hunting it down, too.
We are, too! We're looking forward to seeing what other monsters will enter Monster Hunter World in the future, as well.
Did you play it or are you just saying that because of the trailers?
@khaotic Ok, his spelling and grammar can be excused. His half sentence responses as to why he disagrees cannot. If he had so many issues with the post, he could elaborate a little more.
I thought Saints Row 2 was really where the series found its groove.
Did you really have to use the word "Lit"?
Older game reviews (such as this one) are posted as Opinion, so that they are not mixed in with the new releases. Opinions are not supposed to have the site name in the title. A game released over 90 days ago from the current date is considered too old to post as a new release. At least, these are the rules we've gathered. Nothing fishy going on, mate. :)
From the author via a comment on Facebook: "Good points well made. The one thing I wanted to avoid here was to be too preachy or too joyless. I know that a hell of a lot of people are psyched about this, and that's awesome.
The one point I will maintain is that when you've got an industry so reliant on hype, that feeds in to the big-money culture with rampant pre-orders and microtransactions. It's that nonsense I'm having a pop at, in a roundabout fashio...
Contacted author and he applied the revision. Also updated the description. Thank you for the feedback!
Definitely check it out if you're a fan of jump scares.
For me it's Guild Wars and GW2 that keeps getting me back in after I walk away
Love it! My first video game was Play Action Football for the Game Boy. I'm not a big football fan, but I will always love that game for starting me on video games! :D
If you're into this type of game, it's definitely an experience worth playing. I loved it and have loved each time I played it!
