The more this season pass and dlc takes over gaming the more I go back to retro gaming on all the old carts.
Remember the days when a game came complete full of unlockables. These season passes are making me go back to those days.

Played tons of MMO's.. Strange you come to a conclusion like that based on what I said.. I will try to help you understand better.. I merely think Destiny's price points are unfair for customers outside of the US and early adopters that skipped the DLC's having to re-buy everything.
The basic math Destiny defenders really just show one thing, Destiny is your main game and you play it non stop and will probably fork over whatever they ask to continue and justify it...
An entirely new game for an entirely new Price! I enjoy Destiny but with all the other games coming I am not going to drop 79.99 Can when I spent 69.99 a year ago to play it. Not buying the 2 DLC packs in-between apparently really screwed me over as a day one buyer.
The game pretty much has a subscription fee without the subscription. In 4 months you will be paying $40 to access Pluto's moons and reset your gun levels to embrace another grind.
Paid 69.99 + tax for vanilla Destiny and now a year later to get caught up I have to spend 79.99 + tax for TTK. I really enjoyed Destiny but I wont be buying it. MGSV, Mario Maker and Fallout 4 get my money instead.
I agree, Imagine if the Destiny that originally launched was The Taken king copy.
This game looks like a major disappointment to those who played the originals, and Lil Wayne cant skate at all so leaving a real pro out to put him in says it all, Money.
I just couldn't do it any more when they were 69.99, I am about 6 months behind in the gaming world because I wait until they cost 29.99 on sale then buy them.
Had a blast playing through this game again. I really like how there is multiple endings and major differences between both playable characters.
I am enjoying playing it but not enough to buy it full price when it releases.
I think Platinum members getting only digital rewards this year was a major sign of things to come, they also are moving digital titles into the "Currently Unavailable" section.
Atleast I have my Majoras Mask Soundtrack from 2013.
This is the beginning of the end of physical rewards, I think they will soon all be phased out for digital rewards.

I purchased the original abomination of a version they canned early and was given the relaunched game free and I have not enjoyed an MMO like this since vanilla Wow. I cannot believe they turned it around like this.

So sad the game has no story mode. I would have loved an epic challenging campaign. The groundwork has been done why leave this out?
