been using 7 since the RC, it is the best windows yet. i am using it as my main machine at work so i have thrown all kinds of things at it from legacy VB applications to java based real time stock streams,powershell and batch scripts, it has never missed a beat and this hardware isn't exactly screaming. core 2 duo 2.33mhz 3gig ram, 120gig HD.
going home from work and using my vista machine (which is far superior hardware wise) just feels less productive and usable. the xp machi...
hmmm first of all how about fixing all the cheating and not deleting people's posts of demos on their website that prove it. and for a "browser based game" there is sure alot of crap (punkbuster, maps, game directory) that have to be installed on the local machine. in short, quake live sucks.
as much as i would love to believe that it is untrue, i just watched several youtube videos of 2010 glitches. I don't care about features EA adds each year, i just want one year that is nearly glitch free. every year they add new "features" that introduce even worst glitches that the year before.
i played for several hours the last few days on live and haven't had this problem. played a ton on coral sea last night also.
the difference is i use phones (don't have an iphone btw) and computers everyday for things that are essential, business, bills etc... i play games for fun. in order to keep life running smoothly and efficiently i need a computer and cell phone, i don't need a console for that. i use a console when i want to have fun so the budget for things i NEED is much higher than what is used for FUN.

please it is an EA game, it will be unplayable for about 2 months, every battlefield game has been that way. you think this is bad you should have bought BF 1942 when it came out.
this guy is a tool. there isn't a new 360 just a new sku that includes natal, which when released you can buy by itself and add on to your existing 360.

same here, once you get used to vista, xp really does blow. however i have been using windows 7 (at work) since the RC came out and now going home and using vista is painful. 7 rocks.
if we are going to generalize then lets generalize. i think alot of the US fixation on skinny chicks comes from the fact there are alot of "fatties" here. when you go outside and see 5 fat chicks and 1 chick who is ideal weight or less it isn't hard to fixate on her.
if MP is in the game it all the sudden puts it on my radar for purchase. sorry i usually don't like SP portion of the game, i enjoy playing games against other people not a stupid AI controlled character.

depends on what you are talking about, the new features of cut and paste and MMS?,,, free bottom dwelling cell phones have been doing this for a long long time. a megapixel camera? i have a 1yr old smart phone with a 5megapixel camera and more features than what apple is about to offer.
my point being it depends on feature(s) we are talking about as being new/innovative or outdated. BTW everything coming to the iphone has been done long before on either symbian or crappy window...
i never was a fan of the hack and slash games, you could tape the square and triangle key down with duct tape and the thumbstick up, walk away for 2 hrs come back and you are half way through the game.
did you even watch E3? first of all they PLAYED a different kind of halo game, and as for quality of games, at least MS showed the game, not a bunch of CGI trailers.

i am going to give to MS, as usual the majority of the ps3 games (although some cool looking) were all pre recorded cgi. MS came out and played more games, showing actual in game footage. sorry i don't drool over cut scenes. not that MS doesn't do this too but this year they showed more games actually being played or more in game shots.
new IPs?? the 10,000 mario/wario game is not a new IPs, this conference was terrible. On top of that their new games were ones they haven't recycled in a few years and they are now getting around to it.

i care, i didn't buy bioshock because of the lack of multiplayer. i enjoy playing games against other people not a bunch of semi-ok AI bots. if bioshock 2 has multiplayer it will probably get my money.
i do. i have a blue ray drive in my laptop which has an hdmi port. whenever i want to watch a blue ray i just pop the disc into the laptop, put it over by the tv and plug in the hdmi cable an wala, dark knight on the big screen.
BTW whoever above said windows 7 isn't until next year is an idiot. win 7 rc the license key lasts until 2010 for the RC version. MS has already announced win 7 RTM in september.
i have bought every madden for either ps2,xbox and xbox 360. this year marked the first year i have not bought madden. all my friends stopped buying it after madden 08 not because they grew out of the game or had other ones they are moving onto, but because madden sucks. period end of story.
