Woah this game looks terrible, the textures and AA suck! Really blurry textures and looks as if theres no AA. What are you all on about saying it looks amazing?! It is expected though for 60FPS on current consoles.

But this screenshot really looks terrible, like a cel shaded look. Awful textures and that pistol looks really bad.

Im enjoying it on PC even though it lagged quite a bit, there are a lot of glitches and a lot of snipers. The graphics are good but not amazing even on ultra. I cant even start the beta now due to shitty origin and launching it through a browser, I mean wtf are they thinking with the browser idea? Gameplay can be great, sounds amazing, recoil is fantastic and the levelling system is great! Would really like to play caspian border though. Well I cant even play the beta now, keep getting error codes when trying to join a server from the browser. Hate it how you have to go through shitty Origin, then go through your browser to play the game and see all your stats! Whats wrong with doing it all through the game itself.

Looks like I should be allright with my Sapphire 6870 then, especially when its overclocked to 950/1150 and runs BF3 at 1080p not 1200p. Still waiting for the beta.

You would have problems. A 6870 playing Crysis 2 maxed in 1080p with tessellation on and high res textures gets FPS below 25 most of the time, sometimes really low.
My 6870 can play Crysis 2 maxed very well, but as soon as I turn on tessellation the fps plummets.
I have a similar build with a 6870, AMD Phenom 2 X4 955BE, 4GB RAM. It plays Crysis maxed out at 1080p. My FPS ranges from 30-50fps. So Im sure that rig with a slightly lower spec CPU could max Crysis. Crysis 2 with DX11 on my system suffers but its playable, but thats due to the stupid amount of tessellation that they use. So lugia 4000, your wrong.
What PC specs have you got for it to run at 60FPS on max settings?

Red Orchestra 2 looks amazing! Might buy it. Trackmania 2 Canyon looks crazy too. Amazing graphics, amazing custom tracks with loads of cars on at the same time (cant remember how many). Wasn't a fan of the Hard Reset demo though, just felt generic.

bozebo - a £600 PC that maxes crysis with 50-70 fps? what were the specs? not trolling actually wanna know because I spent about £720 on my rig.

caboose32 - I just tried the demo of Hard Reset and I thought it sucked hard! Looked alright, but the gameplay and ideas and story were just generic and cheesy. Red Orchestra 2 on the other hand, looks to be amazing! Might have to lay down the money for that one.
Steam is so good. Just shows console owners are getting ripped off.
