I don't wanna seem fanboy-ish but my ps3 really is no hassle at all. The 360 on the other hand seems like the biggest pain in the ass ever, given my lifestyle. I always use wireless to play on it and have tons saved on the hdd...two favored actions that would've cost me 3x as much to enjoy on a 360.
you DON'T know this will happen in MW2. that's the problem I have with all these flame wars about it. You assume it will. But do you honestly think IW will shoot themselves in the foot? Do you think Activision would? Say what you will about the company's management style, but I doubt they'd be jeopardizing the future of Modern Warfare 3 on a gamble.
