Huk-aba fighting!
Happy to see Hero also, he's so good. :)
Yeah not sure how in the hell infringing on other people being able to use their PS3s equates to free speech. What a bunch of assholes.
@Mmmkay-
Invented their own sports, which millions of people in the states love is somehow in itself bad? Do I really have to start naming off sports isolated to other countries that people there love to play? Cultures evolve, and that's not necessarily a bad thing.
Sure, it would make it easier if things were all consistent. Unfortunately, none of us are the ones who started using the terms/conventions, that's just always how it's been for us.
It is typically what happens though when cultures branch off and start developing anew, they breed new terminology and quirks that differentiate them from the parent culture.
@jim- Using a cultural norm that we've been accustomed to our entire lives is meddling? I'd appreciate a little less condescension.
What a terrible article/list. The reasoning the author used to back these up is just flat out poor. Mafia 2, a game by a different developer, is why LA Noire won't be great? And the fact that they have a team dedicated to marketing/outreach? Another article begging for hits with little integrity.
Marketing, anyone? I went to SXSW this year and the giant Homefront display with 6 demo units was plastered in XBOX Homefront signs, as if there were no other version. Is anyone really surprised?
Anyone else worried they're going to catch on to this and take some sort of action against those redeeming multiple codes?
Poor sales? It sold about a million units on both the 360 and PS3. How is that bad?
Look, we get it. WE UNDERSTAND. You guys are repeating yourselves over and over and over and it's not going to change the film's casting.
I like how N4Gers act like they should be making the decisions for studios and directors on what's best for their films to succeed. You guys are throwing the biggest hissy fit I've ever seen regarding a game movie.
This guy makes solid movies, so stop acting like spoiled little children and let's see what he can make happen with this film. Just accept that Nathan Fillion is not going to be in it and that it could quite possibly still be a great movie.
I hope you're being sarcastic about the charisma, masculinity and women thing... cause ladies certainly do like that guy.
I thought the Prince of Persia movie was pretty good.
you had me until your last choice of word.
I seriously feel dumber after reading that article...
It's frozen up three times on me already and at one point there were some pretty big audio drops...
And who deemed you the absolute authority on deeming what's innovative?
Killzone gives 1.5XP to winners of matches, they've had 3 DLC map packs already, have had double XP weekends, added new weapons
Why do you think I'm assuming you're dumb just by saying what features the game has? It's not like I'm lying about that stuff, you're being silly, man...
Killzone 2 for one has the most innovative graphics engine I've seen in a console shooter yet. Gameplay-wise, the multiplayer changes game-mode on the fly, a class system that lets you unlock new weapons/abilities and mix 'n match between classes, enabling you to do things such as place turrets, deploy sentry bots, pose as an enemy, revive teammates, go invisible as a sniper, place proximity mines, etc.
Not to mention that the speed and weight of the gameplay is far different tha...
From what I've read, about 1 in 4 halo 3 discs got read errors, I actually just bought it after getting my 360, and the disc gets read errors right after I start the campaign, but for some reason it works fine when I unplug the hard drive. Apparently many others have had this issue and it sounds like that's why this lawsuit is happening, because of how halo 3 interfaces with the hard drive
...people writing articles should look up the difference between these two words and their usage...
You could echo the same concerns about Steam, yet you're praising it as a great platform. Digital distribution is a way of eliminating re-sale, and does anyone complain about not being able to sell their steam games? Ultimately it's a benefit for publishers and developers to phase out the used market.
