It's entirely intergral to the story and Ellie. I love how it stays with him and you almost feel his pain the whole way through the game as he's slowly coming to terms with it. Probably the most cinematic and heart wrenching opening to a game iv'e ever played :'(.
Great Stuff! This made me hugely nostalgic, one game that I really want to play but never got a chance to was Psychonaughts! With number 2 announced i need to delve int Schafers sleeping hitter. I actually cant believe I havent played it D:, i'll definitely be playing War of Monsters too !
I'm so aprehensive about this, I loved the first game thought the 2nd was dull (most probably due to the B team taking over) and infinite was a great new direction, but took away bioshock from its horror roots. The exploration of Rapture was captivating and chilling and if they do follow the parrallel universes route then we might see the franchise develop into a final fantasy style series, which im not entirely sure is a good thing. Can't wait for the bioshock remasters for next gen ...

Its a shame this style had died out I feel theres something unique to piecing together a story with your imagination.
Surprisingly most big voice actors don't jump out at me, maybe it's a showing of his talent but I usually don't notice Troy Baker
That Tetris soundtrack and Pokemon battle music, brings back the ultimate nostalgia
completely agree with fifa, I play it so much because I can play in 15 minute bursts. Whereas a game like Bloodborne requires a solid few hours to feel like I have progressed.

I find speed running fascinating I watched blindfolded speed run of super mario it was insane and the bioshock infinite speed run I like seeing how somebody can break a game down so far. Great article !

Drunk or high I know that geometry wars 2 and 3 are just incredible, the colours maaaaan. :') Also the amount of Uni fifa nights, with god awful cider and red bull were a highlight!
