But it is personal preference. Just like every review is. I would rather have better frame rates and a controller I am more comfortable with than simply higher resolution. Others may completely disagree. Fortunately, this is why we can each make up our own mind and buy what we want.

That preview you mention was the only one that was damning. Lately they have all been good since the turn around at E3. However, not all games are for everyone. That's why it is nice we can make our own decisions and buy games that look like a blast to us.

How many of the mass casual audience out there that watches tv and movies, etc. has pre-ordered? Not very many. This will come down to the people walking into the stores to purchase. Not the pre-orders. I think the numbers at the end will be just as close as they are in this generation.
How is this news? lol One Gamestop manager who states his store has 5:1 ratio on PS4:Xbox One but also states he knows stores that have the Xbox One in front. I think we all knew the PS 4 had more pre-orders. That was bound to happen after the reveal and E3. However, after the reversals and changes with the One it is hard to imagine a 5:1 ratio across the board.
lol you say it is the same as showing the PC footage earlier, yet PS4 did the same thing with videos.
This footage was given to them by the devs. Yes, they should have done a better job watching and editing the video but this partly falls on the devs for not sending the right video to the right console.
Actually all the reviews I have read state it is during gunplay when smoke and effects fill the screen. Visually there is hardly a difference between the two. They should have stuck with 720p.

I understand what you are saying and agree. However, the problem is the better console experience is subjective. For me I want more functionality than simply playing games that look great. I want to be able to play games that look great and have the ability to use my voice, motion, snap apps, etc.

Many people, just like they do on pc, have other music playing in the background while playing a game. The fact that Sony lets you do this... but only if you are using the Sony Music service speaks volumes as to why this was left out. All corporations are the same no matter how much better one may handle their marketing over another.
You can just buy this card and add it to your profile. That way your Live won't auto renew until it runs out. My sub was up in December so this was good timing.

There is a pretty significant difference between owning the studio or gaining the exclusivity rights when it comes to the developer. The artistic and design freedom is usually lost when they get bought.
I like this approach better because it encourages studios to work with them without the fear of being gobbled up.
