As I can recall, EVERY GAME, gets "boring" after a while. I mean, even the greatest ones after you've played them upteenth times, you'd take a brake from them. And as I also recall, on every console before this generation, they were lots of games released and only a handful were truly great. The most fun I've ever had with and RPG, was with FFVII. Hands down, it changed the way RPG's were done and played. And my second favorite, FFIII (in the States. FFVI in Japan). the best of the old school crop. I never got into FFVIII. The character just didn't have the same charm as 7. I enjoyed FFIX thou. It was like a fresh take at old school. After those, FF lost its charm for me. On a side note, I'm playing Mass Effect now a days. It's so great that it takes me back to those good ol' RPG...

Until people can download a 5 or a 15 gig movie in the same time it takes to download a 5meg song, it's not gonna fly! and then there's storage issue. I have literally THOUSANDS of songs taking gigs and gigs of room. Sure the hard drives will get bigger. But we're talking about a thousand, or more, times the size of today's drive to keep all the movies we'll suppose to keep. It'll happen. Not just anytime soon.
Until MS takes responsibility for all the blunders they've made, and they are too many to list here, no one should defend them. They are a company that cater to PAYING CUSTOMERS! The signal that comes from your PS3/360 is digital. If you went the component cable route, the digital signal is converted to analog inside the console.
