Starfox 64 3D: Ghost of Sparta
What?
But on the other hand, Remedy has confirmed to be developing more Alan Wake.
It could mean that they're seeking new publishers.
PATHETIC!
This was most certainly made just so that they could save this horrible show!
So they are basically doing the PC hacks, but charging for them?
If only this could work wirelessly, like the Steam cloud saving system: You can play the same game from your account in other computers and have the same savestates from your games.
Karma in itself is a very bad way to address moral choices, is that it doesn't give gray options, only black and white.
I hope that the sequel will have better moral choices, similiar to classics like Deus Ex. Man can hope.
Console exclusives are great, but there's no need to become elitist about it.
Multiplats are really great too and some even better.
Take a look at Portal 2 or the products by Rockstar.
It would be ridicilous to think that Gabe decides everything inside the company.
Valve is huge and these decision aren't made by few persons.
PC version sales are never accurate:
Portal 2 has propably sold many times more than the site indicates. Is this data from retailers?
No.
I don't want video games to become immature toys and propaganda device for americans.
Is this list really made to celebrate the death of Bin Laden? While he was a monster and was responsible of many deaths, this article is tasteless.
Are we really celebrating a death of person by listing our favorite deaths?
Sometimes these video game journalists disgusts me.
Sigh. Sony would do the same thing.
Microsoft is a company that wants money just like Sony.
They aren't some sort of emotional persons.
@Warprincess116
You honestly do not know anything about business.
Obviously they have to sell units.
I never understood this demonizing of Microsoft and 360. Sure some people may not like the console, but bashing every single news story is just completely absurd.
Another example I just remembered was Metal Gear Solid 4.
Just think of all those great moments that the game had: The Return To Shadow Moses, Microwave Tunnel etc.
I think that these certain moments combined with the gameplay truly can make an immersive and emotional experience.
I think the author of this article is missing the point what makes games artistic for the most part.
Just because the game has an stylistic art direction doesn't in my opinion make the game "art".
Isn't there more what games can do than just render fancy graphics?
What I personally think that what really makes games art is the INTERACTIVITY part of the medium.
No movie, book or painting can never have this: ...
So it's single handedly his fault?
What about Sony?
They did not hash nor salt user passwords which pretty weird to be honest.
@movements
It's right to be angry at Hotz, but he really has nothing to do with this.
PSN is online service and has nothing to do with the system itself.
Edit: And those people who disagreed propably do not know anything about technology nor their security. Hypocrites.
These enviromental deaths remind me of some custom maps from Counter Strike, which had some really good death traps.
While one could agree that the following things make game artistic, it's the INTERACTIVITY that really makes the medium so different from others.
You cannot have interactivity in the same sense in books or films like games do.
Games as an art form should develope what they do best: to make interactive experiences.
First impressions?
These guys watched a trailer. What kind of impression is that? Oh well.
