Yes, it does.
What if it's on Wii? ....My god
Level is a great magazine and it's a good review. To be honest it's funny how people say how contradictory the review is without even reading it. The bottom line is that the author did a bad job translating the pros and cons. They say the games online multiplayer might have problem reaching the same sucess as CoD series and Halo-series cause it's kinda hardcore.. that's all.. both reviewers says the MP part of the game is by far the best aspect of the game and it sounds like it rivals the bes...
This is why guns should be illegal.
Nope it's the PC version of Spore. 8 is a great score. Period.
Hey come on...the game got a 9.9 dammit.. why are people bit*ing? We all know GTA4 is overrated already.. but that doesnt make an 9.9 less astounding..I got no doubt that this'll be the best game ever.
The translation is from the review done by Swedish magazine Level who gave MGS4 a perfect 10/10. The 9.7 review is from a dutch magazine.. author messed up this is a messy one.
To qoute the reviewer (who also reviewed GTA IV): "When the credits roll it feels like I finally understand what games are about" Dont think you can give a better praise than that.
I dont think people exactly know how much hype MGS4 is getting..only Halo 3 and GTA IV have generated this much hype this generation. Also looking on statistics series entering a new generation of console usually sells alot (mgs2, mario, zelda etc). I'm sure it will sell over 6 million..maybe around 8-10 but I dont think it'll do as well as MGS2 did in Japan.. the japanese really like their nintendo toys right now.
G4 just proves how clueless they are yet again. MGS2 have sold about 7.5 million copis worldide (halo 2 at 8). MGS3 have sold about 3.5-4 million. Considering the buzz is bigger than any previous Metal Gear game and that alot of series usually sells better once it goes nextgen, (Final fantasy VII, X, MGS2 and Super Mario for example) I'd say this game is pretty much a winner. Would guess the game has sold atleast 5 million copies after a year of it's release. How G4 claims that aint mainstrea...
Well, most sites and magazines don't know how the scoring works tbh. If IGN for example score a game a 5 or 6, they'll totally bash it in the review and call it a bad game. And when they actually come across a great game (scoring 7-8) they usually give it a 9 or more (red dead redemption , for example.. 9,7? Come on!!) Level doesnt do that, they usually praise games that score a 6. 8 is a GREAT score. That's it.
