Boobs.
Let's hope they get it right this time.
If you ask me, the developers didn't go all out this time around, which is hindering both versions of the game. If anyone is to blame for FFXIII not being what it could have been, it's the devs.
Gee, I wonder where all those negative user reviews are coming from? Do two dozen people seriously think Mass Effect 2 deserves a ZERO? Of course it does... Anything that's not on PS3 is garbage.
Grow up, fanboys. Mass Effect 2 is as close to perfect as any game has come, in my opinion. It's the best single-player experience I've ever had, and probably the best single-player game since the likes of Kotor or Metal Gear Solid. That's more than I could ever say about the Sony darl...
I'm no big fan of Gears, but one can't deny how it has influenced third-person shooters. The controls, the cover-system, etc. If it wasn't for the steroid-soaked characters and sophmoric attitude, it would be a stellar franchise in my eyes.
When I first heard about QT I was interested, but based on the video it isn't nearly as well-executed as Gears.
As a proud owner of a PS3 and a 360, I must say that this is rediculous. You know what's holding the game back? The developers, that's what. Don't blame it on the Xbox.
There is one truly significant advantage that the PS3 has over the 360 and that's the amount of data that can be stored on the disk. Everything else is trivial. Xbox has as many if not more exclusive games that are as technically impressive as anything on the PS3.
There is no game that exists on e...
Does everyone judge a particular system by what's most popular? Well, yes... and that's why Sony fanboys actually have some credibility when they bash the 360. It's because the 360 games they are exposed to, such as Gears and Halo, happen to be overhyped blockbusters made for the masses.
PSN is garbage in its past and present state, especially compared to
Live. There's a reason it's free, folks... Because it sucks. There is absolutely no better way to play online, on a h...
Eh.
"Hey Einstein, you are the smartest person ever! Enjoy your reward! Just ignore the fact that a few minutes earlier we said that your brother was the smartest person in your own house. He's not as well-known as you, so our hands were tied."
I don't understand how Uncharted 2 wins Game of the Year when it didn't even beat out Assassin's Creed 2 for Best Action/Adventure game. So... AC2 is good enough to beat it in the best of genre category, but not GotY? That doesn't make any sense.
With the original Mass Effect, I was so excited that I absorbed every single bit of information I could about the game and unintentionally overhyped it before it released. Even with that, and a number of technical issues and design flaws, it still managed to become one of my 10 favorite games of all time. It was THAT good.
I have tried hard to avoid gathering too much information on ME2, since I want it to be as fresh as possible. But from what I have seen, it appears to be bet...
Coming from someone that doesn't have their head up their ass... I have both consoles, and the 360 version is better. Compared to the PS3 (pre and post patch), it plays smooth and looks sharp in all areas, with hardly any hitches or framerate drops, even in 4-player rooms. And playing with friends online is about one million times better and easier using Xbox Live.
Seriously, the fanboy defense is to say that there are more good games on the PS3? Not only is that subjective, it...
I was really digging the game until about halfway through, when I realized how repetetive and predictable it is. Usually those kind of things can be overlooked if the gameplay and/or story is good enough, but U2 couldn't keep up with its own pace.
I'm glad I played it, but I doubt I'll ever play it again. I've been enjoying my time with Way of the Samurai 3 more, and it will never get the numbers and praise U2 has recieved.
So, lemme get this straight...
PS3 fanboys argue against the 360 and say Mass Effect 2, Left4Dead 2 and Splinter Cell: Conviction don't count as exclusives because they're also on the PC. Yet #1 on the list is FFXIII because... it's exclusive in Japan?
Contradiction.
PS3 fanboys argue that GTA4 DLC and ODST are just glorified expansions. So, why is the God of War Collection on that list? It's not a new game or IP, it's a re-release of old games w...
"Year's most incredible game"
Uhm, really? I'd have to politely disagree. U2 is a very good game, but the day I finished it, I lost all desire to ever play it again. Not even the 'good enough' multiplayer made me hesitate to turn off my PS3. That's not exactly something one should say about a GotY-worthy title, right?
I have never really been a fanboy, since I've usually had more than one way to enjoy games over the years. However, the idiots on N4G have put me in the habit of defending the Xbox due to the rediculous number of outspoken Sony flag-bearers on this site.
I actually used to think that the Sony crowd was a little more mature and relaxed than everyone else, but since the PS3 has arrived, that has not been the case at all.
I would have to disagree 125% my friend. Currently, Modern Warfare 2 has at least 1 million more pre-orders for the 360 than the PS3.

With Heavy Rain being the lone exception, I see much better things coming from the 360. That's just my opinion, but considering that I don't really like platform...
From what I see, Borderlands is more deserving of hype and attention than Uncharted 2 or Halo ODST are/were combined. I'm not flamebaiting, I'm just saying. I played a bunch of ODST and I've completed U2 and neither of those games excite me as much as this one, and it's not even out yet. It remains to be seen if it's worth my admiration, but I've got a feeling that it will be.
I've been gaming for about 20 years and it's undoubtedly my favorite form of entertainment. The main reason is due to the interactivity, of course; The illusion of having an impact, taking actions that effect the fiction, or expressing one's power. All of those things are addictive.
Books, movies and music are passive, unless you're the one creating the experience. But when you are the creator, you don't get to experience what was made in the same way that you would have if you...
