As the article says, there isn't much of a change, or any change in the enclosed, small areas. To see the difference you need to go into high-detail outdoor areas. Check out the images in the article, there really is a difference.
Good game, and now great graphics ;)
The game had a bit of a rough start, but it's come good now.
The page might not mention it, but the developers recommend using that driver, and it's the only one that enables 3D Vision in the game.
Nifty!
An open world game using this tech will be a very long time off.
Indeed it is.
It's a fun game for the price, give it a shot.
Factual story with more info, rather than a troll story as on http://n4g.com/news/753206/...
Nah, just a coincidence, this is completely real!
Got a 7fps bump on max settings (using http://wasdie.blogspot.com/... at 1080p on a GTX 580.
Indeed :)
That rumour is true, I'm afraid.
I can't reply directly to you cakeisalie, but I would say in response that the 550 can be overclocked to the speed of the 460. The 550 also draws less power and produces less heat, and also has a new internal design as mentioned by some of today's reviews. Though I can't guarantee it, I would imagine that the price will decrease in the coming weeks, making it an even better prospect.
It is a solid setup, and I'm not just saying that because I helped work on the article. And if AMD isn't your cup of tea you can get the Intel stuff instead, as outlined in the piece.
Tasty!
Very fast, direct download link.
Performance is incredible if you consider how poorly Crysis ran.
I'm unsure how they have lied. And honestly, you can't expect your old 9800 to run every game max forever. We should be thankful that Crytek are pushing things forward - far too many games run at console spec for easy conversion.
Both? :)
