never really followed this game. if i didnt play the first 2 would i miss anything? i'd like to pick this up eventually but too many good games out.
I actually like saints row 2 and it deserved better than a 5.. seriously i found it more fun than the overhyped GTA4. Its kind of slow of first but once you start unlocking some stuff I couldnt stop playing. 8.5/10 is about reasonable score from me. But judging from the killer amount of games they review, they musnt have had time to decently review each game except the hyped ones.
They should of delayed it was no where near ready. Thankfully, Australia gets it on the Nov 27th so hopefully all the issues will probably be fixed by then. For once it doesnt feel that bad to have a later release date than everyone else.
Enough with these reviews! I just want the game. Gonna be a long 7 days for me... :(
Hmm never met anyone who like oblivion graphics, I'm kinda shocked. Anyways I guess whatever swings your boat really. I know I may have come of abit harsh before with my initial posts.. but I guess I'm a little jaded, not always seeing what I pictured in my mind of my fav franchises to be translated well into games, so I apologize.. its just my opinion. Guess graphics arent really important to some but sometimes I'm picky and just want both for once, especially in RPGs. I cant dream can I? :P...
I'm not hating on Fable2 or WRPG in general as most think I am. Just saying their art direction leaves more to be desired. I know it doesnt have to be "anigay" as zerodin put it, I've seen great western art too but sadly, most the hyped games I've seen from oblivion to NWN1/2 have been disapointing for me and never use good artists. It helps if the characters your trying to be immersed with dont look like you ugly next door neighbour...

square enix have lost their touch if you havent noticed. i doubt FF13 will be any good as their last game in the series. I'm glad their is someone new who dares to create a new franchise. Go watch some of the high res videos monty, you may change your mind. I did.
dunno why some of you guys above dont like the art direction.. it looks fantastic.. and just comparing it to FABLE 2 lol. Western companies can only dream of matching 5% of Japanese art design. Not just fable2 another example is oblivion. In that game just look at character faces and models. Also, The first fable art was butt ugly and I'm sure it will be again. So yeah JRPG>WRPG.
WKC is the only RPG i have been interested for a long time. After checking out all the TGS videos, I'm now so hyped for this game...looks breathtaking with the art direction, the character, world designs and the battle system looks so pimp. Check out the animations for the combat system.. looks so fluid and natural.. sword fights look like your really there.
Same. i stopped caring since FF6 on snes, now that was the best game they (squaresoft) ever made.
Theres not much itemization in this game.. if it wasnt for the dye's everyone would look the same. Every piece of armor i pick up currently looks exactly like the old one (in my current Tier anyways). Thats my only beef with WAR... Hopefully they add more models for the game soon.

I'm also a big fan, but in all honesty most the gameplay videos didnt make it look very fun.Its just a bunch of guys running and taking cover and shooting. If it was a FPS game it be an ok idea.. but i dont see it working in a MMO. Hopefully I'm wrong though... still cant wait for beta.
I'm jealous I didnt get a key yet.. but I will keep trying. :(
I'm glad R6V2 is still up there, I played all those games but I keep coming back to the terrorist hunt.. it just never gets old for me. :)
This game has taken large chunks of time out of my life in the beta for over 4 yrs... the game is a masterpiece. Its hard to believe it was created by such a small team. It puts much bigger companies to shame with this combat engine. Highly reccomended to people who never ever found a good horse combat game.
I dont know what the fuss of vista is, ever since i got my new computer with ultimate64, I have 1 crash in like 6 months. When i was using XP i lost count after the first week.
Its amazing how that many people are saying its gonna suck or gonna flop.. WHEN THEY HAVENT EVEN SEEN IT YET.
Yeah it might suck.. but also a chance that it could be a hit.
I personally am a hardcore DBZ fan for over 10 years and I've seen all the manga, episodes and movies. I'm just happy and grateful for something new to come out of the franchise.
lol yeah its like he wants with the game box with tongue sticking out and all. but damn am I jealous... the game seems interesting. just hope it doesnt disapoint.. but its EA.. so I dont have high expectations.
Meh. I'd only buy this crap if they made Soap and crew go back in a time machine with a cache of modern weapons, I want my AK47 biarch!!!
