I will be honest, I hated the initial look of dante and then they made changes which lessened my dislike a bit but it still wasn't dante. I may give the game a try but capcom should have kept the original design and mannerisms of dante and then the game could have done better financially.
Initially I bought this game for the narrative and after finishing it I tried the online, I'd tried. The amount of hurdles of crap I went through just to get an account was atrocious and the finally thing was, I never gotten through. The online failed to capture a wider audience because the process was not streamline with the existing accounts and too many hurdles just to create an account. Thanks to the failed design, I never have a chance to play the online portion of the game.
Skyrim is discounted at 33 percent so the game cost less than 41 bucks.
I played FFXIII and I think it was a decent RPG but I didn't buy it at launch, I bought late last year after I had played Dragon Age II. I thought the music was OK and the settings, especially coming to the last segments of the game, were beautiful. I think Skyrim is a great game but at is out of the box, well it needs to go back in the box to get the bugs ironed out. Bethesda has been making the same game for decades and they all plagued with bugs but yet the game is still highly praised as if it has never been done before. I think Dark Souls is a better RPG this year but as far as GOTY goes Skyrim isn't it.
Consoles had the greater sales, especially the 360 console. That explains why the PC version is just a port of the console and not designed differently to suit the PCs hardware. The PC's UI is horrendous and pretty much a direct port of console.

Despite what may think of Gamespot these days the review did make some legitimate complaints, and from what I heard and read this is not a game for me. Yes I have watched the video and it has clearly stated that the controller only comes with the charge kit. It's not cheaper because there is no alternative option to mitigate the price.

Back in the day when I used to have Xbox360, gold members and silver members could have communicated with each other. A couple years later, MS changed that, forcing or skewing silver members to pay for the gold subscription since they can't send messages to their friends. Even then it was hard for me to spend 50 plus tax for year membership. And now this crap...MS is really over doing it because they have tons of revenue streams from the countless ads they have running in XBL.

I will get this game because I am a huge fan but from the overwhelmingly unanimous "specific" complaints it is only valid the game will have poor sales. Gamers, especially the core audience, aren't idiots and are disappointed with the current direction of the series. Hopefully they will fixed these issues with the next installments.
But the last DBZ game I bought was Budokai 3 and for good reason because I've been seeing through their agenda. They just releasing the game with HD graphics and not even taking the game mechanics a step further.
The game itself, although had some technical feats, was technically flawed with tedious load times plus install. They didn't get a good grasp of the console, plus the game itself didn't justified the 60 dollar price tag due to its unacceptable length and it just wasn't a good game.
Perhaps it is too premature for me to agree but I've read professional journalist gamers reviews and users who have gotten the game early and they all unanimously have the same complaint. I've been playing FF series since FF6 and I will say I don't like the direction of FF13 so I may pick this up when the price is discounted.

For a game like this forty seconds load time is extremely unacceptable. I am hoping the upcoming patch will remedied this issue but if doesn't I am still going to get this game regardless. I am dire need a new adventure for the next generation console and this is it.
