Early Access is my biggest peeve for to pay to test and market a game project that may or may not release feels wrong

I agree disagree. Today there's more games that's true, and the visuals look almost life-like. Is a lot better than the PS3 generation which was 95% shooters and brown what is really missing is the next generation gameplay. We still have not seen the true function of ragdoll physics and game developers have not taken advantage of hair physics. Our characters still have wooden movement, and facial expressions.......

Is what got me into pc gaming, the cheap game pricesplus able to relieve my gaming çhildhood with indie games from platformers to horror games. What is really missing is innovative gameplay. During the PS2 era we saw the evolution of 3D platformers becoming more open world with actual storylines that continue onto the sequels like Jak and Daxter. The evolution of stealth games now able to hide bodies or use gadgets to bypass the enemy. That's what is missing in today's games.

innovative gameplay. The visuals are as photogenic as it can get. What's missing is a new way to play games. The gameplay needs to evolve

Personally for me the golden age of gaming was the PS2 era when gameplay truly evolved from not just moving in 3D but able to have destructible environments, free unlockables, close to quarter combat, etc. I understand what the author of this article is trying to say that today there is an infinite amount of good games in every genre but what this generation lacks is innovati

I was surprised 🙀😯 that Sony skip E3.

I get the whole remaster/remake but as a PC gamer you can play your old games plus able to modify them for free. That's why I am confused as to pay $60.00 for remakes/remasters.

Does Sony stock offers because Microsoft stock doesn't offer dividends 😭. Shame for I prefer dividend stocks. Buy more coke so my dividends increase 🤣

What are some compelling reasons to get a PS5.

The PC gaming platform works well with gamepads especially the Xbox gamepads that do not need any 🤔 just plug and play.

The PC can be hooked to any tv set allowing couch gaming.

PC gaming offers split screen play plus some PC games still offer lan play.

Online gaming is free

All Xbox One games are playable on PC like the upcoming Halo 5 which yo...

Looks like PC gaming is getting all the videogame libraries. At this point I may not need a PS5. Which means the era of owning multiple consoles is over

I am glad I didn't buy it then. Is it that shallow of a game

So the PC version of this game is not that buggy. Is it true about its limited choices/romance options????

What's with the $2000 gaming pc myth. $600-$800 dollars is more than enough to play pc games at high settings

The era of handhelds is over. Smartphones have replaced handhelds

The smart tv has replaced the console. More people will be willing to download an xbox app from the comfort of their home than going to the storeand buying a console. Yes PC gaming is not going anywhere but the console hardware era is over

Agreed, console hardware failed to catch up to PC gaming hardware. This generation the console manufacturers had no choice but to increase the cost of the next gen consoles to $500. This way, all you need is a tv, external ssd drive and download the app of Xbox or PlayStation. Hook wireless your gamepad to tv enjoy your console games without a console 😃 for the cost of a tv plus gamepad and ssd. Not bad if you ask me.

Not 10 make 5 or 3 years. Technology is moving very quickly. Today's tvs are smart, have a built-in processor, and all the inputs/outputs of a gaming console plus are able to stream all of your favorite multimedia apps. The era of console hardware is over. PC gaming will not be replaced with a streaming app that is due that we still need a PC to make games. Until it's possible to make games on a mobile device or laptop then PC gaming will change.

I been saying that tv apps of Xbox and PlayStation was the future of consoles. I was right all along.

I thougby digital distribution was going to reduce videogame costs. What happened to all the talk about developing games easier by utilizing PC technology. Is not that many games nowadays that use A-list actors. Nothing makes sense anymore
