Those are some hairy knuckles
It's strikes me as very appropriate that both ads involve rebuilding a gamer. After the year they had last year, and now the amazing one they are having this year. It's almost like they are telling every one how the future will look similar to their past (before 2007). It's actually brilliant art because it can be taken in many different ways.
I don't like the concept of being inclosed in a ball. I think this is much more likely to be the future.

It's been fun watching you guys update and improve your site over the years, and I do mean over the years. I started coming here before there was even a unified site, when the console pages were separate. Anyway keep the good work and thank you from your 373rd member.
Can World of Warcraft be streamed?
Late 2008? Is that a typo? I thought it was slated for a spring release.
I'm not sure if it was there before but, I noticed yesterday that after the 2.10 update I could bring up the XMB while playing a divx movie and on the web browser. If they did it with those two things ingame XMB is just around the corner.
As good as some of those pictures look they still pale in comparison to the actual game. Anyone looking at these that haven't played the demo yet should be warned that the game looks twice as good as those pics when it's in motion.
It will be interesting to see how much this will help PS3 sale numbers.
I'm not saying they shouldn't be catering to the biggest install base, because they should. What I'm saying is, when advertising their products shouldn't they try to appeal to as many people as possible. Why make a product for the 360, PS2, PS3, Wii, and PSP and only advertise it to be on the 360. Why not tell the average uninformed consumer that their console of choice carries that game too. Business wise that makes zero sense. If you could explain AE's reasoning behind this advertising deci...
Microsoft has stated several time that it wants to move to downloadable content as is distribution means. With Blu-Ray and HD-DVD battling it out, Microsoft can just swoop right in and establish downloadable content as the superior way to get your HD content. For them the best possible situation is for neither format to take root.
Although this article is just hearsay, I too noticed the Madden 08 commercials during the football games. If one thinks about it, there really is no logical reason why EA wouldn’t list all the platforms Madden 08 is going to be on. From a business standpoint all they are doing is cutting there sales by not informing that the game can be bought on other systems. Granted the majority of people know It’s a multiplatform game, but something like that is never assumed when these large corporations...
It's one of the few games that I as PS3 owner wish I could play. It really seems beautiful and polished. I'm not much of a FPS fan, but this one seems really interesting. Enjoy it guys.
This article went a long way to reassure me of my purchase. As we all know it's slim picking for games on the PS3 right now. It's good to know that in a month when the games start coming, I wont be to concerned with my console over heating to fully enjoy the game I'm playing. To me that alone is worth the price I paid.
It states the picture was taken after the tournament they held, so after the event. I don't know about anyone else but when something ends usually I leave. The real question is why these blog sites have turned the console war into a polital campaign. Everywhere you look someone is trying to "Smear Campaign" for either Sony or Microsoft. Seriously guys lets just stop. What we really should be worried about is the Wii destroying the way we have been gaming for years. If the Wii contin...
Looks like the kid from the Bully game.
I value this over deeko.com any day.

"As Jack mentioned in the interview with Geoff, this franchise is not LA Noire, but something all new."

It was clearly stated in the playstation blog that it is not L.A. Noir.
So in effect there is nothing wrong with the engine, its the devs that can't optimize it properly. Regardless of whether or not Epic wrote the Engine its the same engine used by Koei and them.
Until I see it I'll hold my judgement, but why should I have to pay for demos, that I would probably get for free before this service became available. You know that the Killzone 2 demo will probably only be available to people that have Qore. They will most likely do that for demos of any big games. I'm just guessing, so like I said I'll hold my judgement until I see it.
