Coke, Pepsi, hell even Tide pay cash to these developers to advertise in a game plus the cash helps out the developers aswell. And it makes the game look more real like NHL 2010 the boards would look boring with out advertisement same with racing games. You won't see Coors Light or Camels advertised in a game thats regulated by the goverment on where they can advertise.

Western rpgs are geared for a more mature audience, some jrpgs i am sorry to say are geared towards kids. Hopefully Square can pull it off and maybe Final Fantasy 13 will rebuild their rep and open the door to more jrpgs

Its tough to say who gets the holiday season xbox because of xbl and the games, or the ps3 wich has built in wireless, with blu-ray and free online plus the great exclusives. With a tanked economy people might just go for the ps2 with its price and library it might dominate again. And if ff13 gets released in japan well we know who will dominate over there *cough ps3*

Parapraxis sorry to say but your wrong the psn was shut down do to the lack of servers for Call of Duty and the high number of people playing it. Also Sony was doing maintence on the psn i could not take any game online.
it is the simple fact the older model 360s their cooling systems are flawed when the disc is turning it turns at a faster speed making the Xbox work harder. It has nothing to do with a specific game the newer sku systems have a better cooling design when the xbox works even harder. All systems suffer a fault the reason why the xbox is more is because it was rushed out the door unlike the ps3 and the wii they were both tested first before going out the door.
The firmware was useful changing the color on the friends box shame you cannot add a picture or a desgin to it. I had to really search for the Facebook icon and found it under account management a dumb place to put it. I am sorry but this update for the PS3 was not worth it if the supposive Cross Game Chat were included then yes this update would have been worth it. It would be a good game for the Sony Wand and NATAL, I wonder if Sega will bring out Mad World to the PS3 and 360 to use with Natal and the wand also
Well if i remeber the words Halo+Xbox= great sales figures. The game will out sell GoW 3 but each fan has a game of their prefrence, the fact the best selling game besides CODMW2 on a system targeted towards fps games with the biggest selling jrpg is stupid. Halo will blow the Final Fantasy 360 version out of the water in sales making the port useless and people wonder why Microsoft paid that amount of cash for the biggest Jrpg to go head to head with Halo.
