Author must be drunk...
I'm in two minds about approving this article, it's clearly been made with a pirated copy of the game due to embargoes.
Gears of War lets you roll anywhere you want :)
If you think this is bad then you should see ShopTo's recent customer "care" situation. They've pissed off and blocked a load of games journalists because they openly abused customers and admitted to lying to customers.
IGN do seem to live on a different planet to everyone else, I find that their reviewers babble too many big words that they learn in Uni.
Gameplay videos don't demonstrate the feel of a game, only the look. Take Lost Planet for instance, videos made it look amazing but the gameplay felt terrible. Also Raindow Six Vegas looked terrible with its graphics yet the gameplay was awesome.
Never judge a book by its cover?
What has Sony got to do with this?
I hope they do, breaking embargoes is disgusting and unfair on sites that do stick to them.
That's why so many games don't get more than one update even though its needed.
And as for Gears 3 working on launch I can confirm its runs like a dream :)
I have actually downloaded it myself, it was on the dashboard to begin with now it is only accessable via the marketplace.
I think the maps are aimed at the hardcore Halo players, much like COD maps. I, myself prefer Battlefields map packs, they're free and are so expansive!
Edited.
Some have controversial elements; GTA had problems with the prostitution, Gears had problems with the level or violence, Dead Space because of killing babies.
Each entry on the list is well deserved of its 18 ratings in the UK :)
This was written in the UK so 18+ mean Adult Ratings :)
Its a much better experience if you play with friends and work as a team.
I work for a major UK street retailer and our NPD's showed that Move only sold 891 units in the first week of sales in Region 1 which is basically half of the UK. If Move is going to outsell Kinect then Sony really need to start pushing the advertising to get it in everyones heads in time for Christmas.
I run Xboxer360.com and we're not a small site, we get over 100k hits a month and we're fully supported by Microsoft in the shape of XCN.
We're one of the largest dedicated Xbox 360 sites in Europe and just because you haven't heard of us doesn't make us small.
I have to agree, I have a fairly large living room but we still have to move stuff around for a game of Wii Sports Resort!
I was actually pretty jumpy after playing FEAR
How so? It's an impressions piece?
