Okay i'm a gamer, but a very poor one at that so i could only afford one system and i went with 360 because at the time it had the better line up of games. But with this and games like metal gear and kill zone 2 and other games that are about to come out that won't come to 360 like Versus XIII and Infamous, I'm definitely buying a ps3 ASAP. I absolutely love this game. It is a masterpiece. Besides the voice work, this game is the best jrpg to date on xbox360. The faster paced combat takes it over the top of LO. The game is just so engrossing and engaging that you hate to put it down. If you are a jrpg fan, than its an absolute must have.
I was in bestbuy today and i broke down and bought this game. I planned on getting it anyway but it wasn't in my budget this period hahaha. But one look inside the game guide and i couldn't resist. It is a very solid game and I'm glad i bought it.

haha the game still looks awesome though. And to me it only seems that way if you look too much into it, to me the characters only have minor things in common with FF 7 characters. There overall designs are totally different.

I will say when it comes to the installed base in Japan, this is a bad idea for square. PS3's installed base in japan is way greater than xbox's but maybe this will push another 50'000 or so 360's there. I never really understood why people go by reviews to buy games. You shouldn't let someones opinion always influence your decision to buy a game. If you think a game is cool, then buy it. Last Remnant looks really interesting to me, so I gonna buy it first thing friday and not even look at reveiws. Hell, all the dynasty warriors from 3 on scored really poorly and I love these games. Its jus something about them that keeps me playing.
