Cross-play is a feature that people using failed consoles cry about because of low install base. Next generation the Xbox will have a much lower install base than the 40million the Xbox one has now because of play anywhere. My pc that I own now is a lot more powerful than the next generation Xbox so it'll be pointless to buy the new Xbox when it's released.
I'm wondering if the successor to the switch will have remakes of switch games in higher resolution and will it sell well because over 80 percent of the switches catalogue of games consists of remakes. I know the switches successor has to be portable and I doubt Nintendo can be successful again with just a stationary home console when their consoles will be underpowered
When was the last good metroid game? Seems like some people expect the next metroid game to be out in 2020.
So the next metroid game might be out around the year 2022 or so if it's expected to be a good game.

There are 62 games already confirmed for ps4 and more will be announced for this year. How many games are coming to the switch this year and how many aren't old ports? The switch sales are lower than the first year and I think sales for the switch will never be as high as the first year again.
