"I did read the article and I still think they say it was disappointing. Why? Because seeing someone talk in a game and showing the social aspects of a game in demo could be really fun and interesting to watch, not just play, specially considering Mass Effect's unique dialogue system and design."

That might be your opinion, but it sure as hell isn't the opinion of Gaming Today. Let me repeat this part for you:

"The editor writes that while conversa...

Destructoid is not biased, it's just a lousy blog, in the same way N4G is a lousy news aggregate. But at least N4G can be useful.

That's ShellShock: Nam '67, System Shock is a totally different game. Anyway, I sure hope Killzone 2 goes beyond that (and I believe it will) because ShellShock got awful review scores:

"PS3 sales shot up and have kept a steady pace ever since E3 and the unveiling of KZ2 realtime footage."

It's more likely the price drop was responsible for that surge, although the games they showed surely helped as well.

I agree that Killzone 2 will "truly take advantage of PS3 and Blu-ray", but so did games like Lair.

They nailed the graphics, but Guerrilla still have an awful lot to prove.

True, although Bioware made MDK 2, the first one was developed by guys at Shiny who later became Planet Moon Studios.

Hahahahahaha!! What is this guy on?

"The gameplay looks like your standard FPS fare, which is to say that I didn't see anything great or remarkable."

Weird, because the game is a RPG with TPS combat, no FPS in sight...

"Where the presentation really fell short, however, is in the emotionless voice acting and subpar facial animations. Not only did the conversation lack the natural ebb and flow to which we were all looking forward, but it was ...

So far we have websites claiming it looks identical on both consoles, websites claiming it looks better on the 360 and websites claiming it looks better on the PS3. Nice.

That's what you get for using machine translators... The text actually says that there was no 360 version to be seen (at GC) and that it remains ps3 exclusive FOR THIS YEAR.

http://www.neogaf.com/forum...

EDIT: I apologize, seems it really says that there really might not be a 360 version. I should learn not to post when I'm tired, happened to me twice in two days.

You can't read, can you? 20 GB hard drive? Missed that?

Anyway, yes, it's expensive. No surprises there, it's a limited special edition meant only for Halo fanatics, not anyone else.

He's not, actually. He's producing the film and directing the game.

The driver has rain drops on his helmet. The suit is made of synthetic materials and it soaks water up. If you look at it closely, you'll notice that it looks wet.

Anyway, the game still looks great. Not as great as GT5, but great nonetheless.

Those are some decent picks, but how could you not include this beauty?

Actually, 2K did comment on it, just not on Joystiq. This is from Kotaku ( http://kotaku.com/gaming/bi... ):

UPDATE: 2K reps just contacted us to let us know "BioShock is exclusive to Xbox360 and PC Games for Windows."

EDIT: Actually, that's an old link, sorry. Maybe they really didn't comment on it.

Surprisingly, the Xbox 360 version actually looks better.

First of all, let me say that I really do believe BioShock will come to the PS3 some time next year.

However, this doesn't have to mean anything. BioShock is built on Unreal Engine 3 which is a multiplatform engine for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3. It's quite possible that the configuration file simply contains some generic UE3 settings put there by Epic or whoever, this doesn't have to be specific to BioShock in any way.

But I repeat, I think BioShock might come out for...

GRAW 2 has been out for months now.
Huxley is not coming out this year.
Left 4 Dead is not coming out this year.
Nobody knows when Mobile Ops is coming out or even if it's still coming out at all, but it's definitely not coming to the US this year. Japan, maybe.
Theseis is not a shooter.

"hmmm... yeah, I'm sure Microsoft's tech is invulnerable to all of this."

Yes, it very well might be, have you missed this news post?

I guess Live being a closed system and Xbox 360 not supporting web browsing has some advantages. Still, even if it's secure now (and we don't know that for sure), they'll need to be careful not to open up some holes whe...

:) I guess Epic showed them teeth.

Microsoft could bundle BioShock with the console if they made a deal with 2K Games. They have a special Trusty Bell bundle in Japan and it comes with a copy of the game, among other things.

I doubt that will happen, however, simply because it sounds way too good to be true.
