looks like the 1060 has nearly twice as many cuda cores ......i just replaced my 750ti with a 1060 6gb and its about 100% faster all around...... id place the 1050ti at 60-75% faster......we will have to wait and see how it performs in real world benchmarks but its a nice card for the price, they should really allow sli with these low end cards
yea right, after GTAOnline, this is their bread and butter now. I actually liked red dead's online more then GTA's though. Id say its safe to assume it will be back in red dead in a big way for better or worse.
You can expect progress to be painfully slow. Usually the trade off in a f2p game is time for money. I think his comment about having to make it all the way to the end in one go is telling. Youll prolly only get so many lifes per day or something.
If your looking for some good f2p games i highly recommend warframe(ps4) and path of exile(pc)

interesting read. the only thing it didnt really seem to touch up on was the ridiculous cost of advertising with AAA games. I would like to know how that effects their budget and the cost of making video games because it seems in some cases (Destiny) they are spending as much on advertising as the actual game itself.
sounds like a flat out no for pc support :( too bad i think sony could of really taken a large share of the market on pc. Tried the psvr at bestbuy and it exceeded my expectations but i think its application will be limited on my ps4.

bought it day one on steam and dont regret it, i figured the more people that buy it at full price the higher chance we get of it being supported and updated for a long time ala minecraft. That being said the PC launch was rocky for me but luckily the posted work around actually worked. Since the fix ive been enjoying the game more then any other this generation and i highly recommend.
if you dont want to fiddle with the settings your better off waiting but there are a few fixes posted that actually work, and theyve released an experimental build already that addresses some of the major problems for people with older cpu's and a shader caching issue.

also i recommend trying the experimental build of no mans sky or disabling shader caching in CC as they have admitted it was causing problems and created a fix for it in the experimental build
