I read hear that the reason vitas sold less than 5k units in Japan last week was because everybody was waiting to buy the new vita with the downgraded screen.
This baffled me since they'd still be selling at the same price in spite of the quality difference but I shrugged off my logical way of thinking and didn't argue.
This news saddens me because I allowed my better judgement to be overthrown so easily and it turns out I was right.

That happens with every big game that was hyped. Question though is why PS fans display this behaviour more than Xbox, PC, or Nintendo fans.
A PS game isn't ever just average or bad, there has to be some bias or lack of understanding or lack of hardcoreness. Twisted Metal, PASBR, Sly Cooper, Starhawk...always some outcry of wrongful review. Why?

I did this with Spider-man 3 and Raging Blast 2, ignored the reviews and paid dearly.
