Wow i see this didn't take long for an idiot to turn this into a console bashing article.
So you are saying my friend can play this game on his XP machine with a Ati 9800 pro and 512 megs of memory and play the superior version. And some games barley run on his PC and his console counterpart plays and looks better on those games. Big gap when you just refer PC considering there is thousands of different setups.

They guy never said it was a flop, but people like to put words in people mouths. And pennywise show some links of where people said it wouldn't sell 1 mill, you have a awful big mouth now back it up son. And yes ME2 was a flop. Funny how people try to save grace with "But its a game with QTE's and blah blah". Nobody is here saying that it is a flop, people are pointing out PS3 users do not buy games plain and simple.

You make the assumptions, but are wrong. Most people do not say that they flop. The main point is PS3 users just don't flock to buy games regardless of anything. I mean really a supposed AAA title that is the next coming to god and what 1 mill in 5 weeks, when the install base is 30 mill+. If you think that is such a great tunrover rate then i am sorry.

Just rent it. I actually wish i had never bought it, there is no replay value at all once you beat it and replay a few chapters to do something different. Very good experience 1st play through.
Maybe someday PS3 users will start buying games. Its funny but half the people i have heard bought this game is actually only to support the dev's. What would have happened if that wasn't the case.
Lame article of course, even if it had beta for the rest of its life people would still smash it. Even though home is a beta and a work in progress. But people keep, well i can play this game for free and this game for free or i have mame blah freaking blah. Then play it for free, i have yet to play this but i bet it does not have the community features that this has. And from my understanding you can play online with friends. And it goes on i am sure they will make adjustments to what works ...

The game is filled with jaggies and framerate issues but it is only using 50% of it's power. That makes alot of sense.
Where did you hear that GOW3 only uses 50% of the PS3's power. If that is the case then they should have used part of the other 50% to get rid of the gawd awful jaggies.

Well they exclusives do sell, they just don't sell as well as 360 exclusives is all. I mean look at the PS2 a so called 120 mill user base and you can barley break 5 mill for a game sold for a AAA title is really sad. That is not a very good turnover. Sure for dev's it is not to bad, but as dev cost go up sales need to increase also and pretty soon selling a couple of million is not going to cut it anymore. And they will have to raise the price of games again just to break even. Cause only 1,...
From the time i first started the game on normal till the time i took out cause i beat it 8 hours and 11 mins. Half of that was the stupid ending. Me and a friend passed the controller back and fourth.
That's awesome 3% of PS3 owners bought GOW3, and that is pretty much everyone on this site. I haven't read very many comments but i am sure there is somebody somewhere saying "Well it will have long leg's". But the initial sale is always the biggest and it might hit 3 mill but that will be about it. And no PS3's didn't fly off the shelves cause of Kratos as everyone was saying. And no it did not look better than UC2. But i am glad it did well in its first week.
Yeah Kratos is so awesome he can repeatedly fall through leaky maps and die.
