I really dont understand the problem people got with this game. I was b!tching about before it got released but now that I'm playing it I'm having one hell of great gaming time that I havent had for some time. The game is one of the best looking game this gen and if someone thinks that making a 60h long game with those graphix and with almost no backtracking whatsoever doesnt compromise other things then thats just stupid.

I must say that the final version of this game looks much more polished then the demo. Back then I was very skeptic of how they would manage to fix some issues I had with the game/demo but they did quite a good job
Dantes Inferno had potential but it was way to linear for my taste and the story developed way too fast. Nice action moves etc but bigger areas would've been preferable

Well IMO its too early for Sony to be promoting the game, i expect them to start showing something in europe the last two weeks before release
lost all faith? maybe they've seen that the PC sales for their "exclusives" are just too small and the piracy level is just too big anyway. I think that they'll be making more money on only releasing it for the 360 but for those who've been looking forward for the PC version I can totally understand the disappointment.
how could that be a bad thing? FF is one of the best selling rpg series out there. IMO I think that MS should get some props for giving their console supporters (360 gamers) a chance to experience one of the best JRPG-series. I've seen many posts from PS3 owners wanting to play ME2 and if I was a ps3-only gamer I'd be happy to see Sony putting some cash in making ME2 for the PS3 happen.

Exactly my point! MS has been blindly ignoring that almost every PS3 owner have a gaming PC (just an assumption) and therefore giving them no reason at all to buy a 360. The PC already has MANY exclusives.
Just think of how much the 360 would have sold last month if ME2 went 360 exclusive? Instead of investing in stupid DLC timed exclusive they should have payed EA and Bioware to drop the PC version (from a business point). Many people would pissed (obviously) but in the end it wouldnt...

I think this is the first Halo game I'm going to play online, or the first game I'm ever going to play online for that matter. I'm a big fan of the old school when internet wasnt everything so you always got a superb single-player experience, now days it all seems too much focused on the online.
Dont be fast to forget that CryTech is original a PC development team and therefore they're at their best when developing for the PC....and last time I checked the 360's structure is similar to a PC (unlike the PS3).
I'm not saying that the PS3 is going to be at disadvantage but my point is that CryTech should feel right at home with the 360 so even if you believe the PS3 being superior you can count on that the 360 version will not be far behind (or even behind at all)

I think that they dumbed the whole game down somehow and if the 360 is to blame is just a myth, its obvious that the engine making took more time than expected and things had to be pushed forward fast. they even said that they had a different engine on the 360.

I dont wanna start seeing more trailers (gameplay or not) until its at least 3months before release, a few screenshots here and there is enough, I dont want them to spoil too much of the game so early on
I dont know why people still see KZ2 as the beast it used to be. Same thing goes for the first Crysis, it used to be a beast but now days great graphics are to be expected in AAA titles. In my books Gears2 is still looking amazing, UC2 looks better than KZ2 and GoW3 kills them all.
but between the three for me Crysis2 is in its own league, neither KZ2 or Reach is on the same level.
