I'm sure others have realized this, but the other day it dawned on me that the PS4 kit is really something else. Its not only about using the GDDR5, which is great, but having the processor have the ability to offload onto the GPU for CPU calculations (which from what I understand is a big thing in the PS4 architecture). The memory doesn't need to be relocated for the GPU to access, as its drawn from the same pool. Huge!
That's really the only thing that is bothering me right now. If this was Sony doing this, it would be strung up and quartered.
Other than that, I got a grin on my face and can't wait for PS4 pre orders to go up.
PSP had it too, you just couldn't do anything else while the game was suspended.

8GB DDR3, 12 CU, 768 thread GPU in Xbox one. He said in this broadcast quite clearly, 768 GPU ops per cycle (meaning simultaneous threads I am sure). He also mentioned 6 ops per cycle for the CPU, in context he appears to mean the machine has 6 cores for developers of the 8.
PS4 has 50 percent more raw GPU performance, and A LOT more system wide unified memory bandwidth.
