I haven't played much of SP but I strongly disagree.
Spec Ops is challenging and the multiplayer is surprisingly well balanced.
You can no longer chuck grenades to the other side of the map, they go a little farther than in games like K2 but dont expect knock out someone on the other side of the map...
I feared the attachments like the HeartPulse sensor would be cheap but it really isn't. You can't see it when running so you have to stand still and it's ...

I have to say that Eurogamer is one of the oddest, and maybe the most inconsistent reviewers out there.
Sure, this is a good score, and people will say "Oh it's Eurogamer, they gave it a 9, this HAS to be a good game". Maybe I just have a bad taste after reading their 10/10 review for Street Fighter IV but I really don't find them too consistent. What did they give MGS IV? 8/10?

I'm going to be so mad because I can't even go to the midnight launch so I'll have to get it in the morning and if I can't sign in that means I wont even be able to play the single player because I wont collect the trophies and I won't be able to play split-screen because no one will be home-- ARGH!
K2 was great for GG's first attempt on the PS3. However, as great as it was (and it is, I have put in 100+ hours into it), it was very bare bones.
Single player with no co op (something GG regretted), no split-screen (I understand the graphics and processing would be too much but I'm willing to sacrifice GFX for Gameplay anytime), and a multiplayer mode that had only five very basic modes.
Now again, it's all very fun. Though I did have some issues with the MP being ...
I still have my doubts about the killstreaks in MW2 being a little overdramatic/too action focused resulting in a lesser focus on gunplay, but regardless I love COD and I love Modern Warfare.

Uncharted 2 is my shoe in for GOTY but this is going to come real, real, close.
This poor game has no one playing on the console versions which upsets me because UT is very fun.
I love to play Halo for the PC back in the day, and now I need a Halo fix seeing as my PS3 doesn't have it, and UT was the closest thing... unfortunately the community is dead.
I was thinking of looking into the PC versions where the game belongs anyway though.

What Gabe said was harsh but none of you are developers presumably and none of you know the frustrations of developing for the PS3. It is clear that the architecture for the PS3 is harder, takes more time, and can result in developers wasting time and resources. Sony knows this. I can care less as its scored well which means its clearly done something right. You can pick away at the negatives but I see no point in arguing anything-- give credit where it is due, Forza is a consistent racer both in terms of quality and quantity.
Truth, my Fatty just wouldnt run it for some reason. I went online and found out that this was a problem with older models. I assume that this was the problem.
Stupid PS3's dont have backwards compatibility which made me think I would never experience GoW but this collection edition is just the cure I was looking for.

What exactly did they say? That XBL was head and shoulder better than PSN? If that is all then that is his opinion and I for one would agree (though I wouldnt say "head and shoulders" better).

Well quantity does not equal quality. I know this one is supposed to be more varied and I hope that the crapiness of the first one was due to the majority of the developer focus being spent on building the next-gen structure.
Now that they have more time to work with the game, I'm expecting this one to do much better
