Why not?
Microsoft relies on VG Chartz for their own sales figures. And we can trust Microsoft, right?

Yeah, after the holiday season
The difference will probably go down to 250K a month over the 360. But that's obviously enough to cut the 360's 5.5 million unit lead to a 3 million unit lead by this time next year. The platforms are being treated equally by developers already, so it only spells more good news for both platforms.

Outsold the 360 by 500,000 units globally? And just last month?
I wonder why the news outlets haven't jumped all over this. I mean, it's a lot more sensational than "360 outsells PS3 in North America by 100K units".
I don't expect Sony to announce how they trumped the 360 in 2009 until March. That's when we'll have exact figures. But the overall margin may be in the neighborhood of 2~3 million units.

I'm scratching my head on this one.
Then why didn't they create new 1st party studios instead of shutting them all down (or letting them leave). We should have at least 4 or 5 games like Halo and Gears coming from their internal studios if this is the case.

You know what's scary?
PS3 exclusives are only going to keep improving. No wonder N'Gai describes God of War 3's current build looking like a first-gen PS4 title.

There's only so much movement you can pull off
With a controller firmly planted in both hands. Natal is going to require Natal-exclusive titles, as well as clever cross-breeds. I know it can recognize someone pretending they have a gun in their hand (for example), but there's two problems.
Natal has to accurately detect the player's hand/body movement, but the player is using their imagination to interact with their onscreen character in many cases. How do you train someone to control what is essentially just thin air?
Having a physical motion controller is the best route.

Agreed. It's going to be very hard
To have both controllers co-exist because they're going to require two very different types of games. In fact, they might as well have a separate Motion Control SKU, or at least push for hybrid setups in major titles.
For example, have Bioshock 2 with standard controls, and an option for the Wand controls as well.

It'll do better than the Wii and Natal
But it's going to require low prices for the controllers (we're talking $30) and LOTS of promotional videos showing just how good the motion sensing is. At E3, the audience was absolutely wowed at the accuracy and responsiveness, two things that Wii and Natal lack, respectively.

Definitely shooter of the year.
It's officially the Gran Turismo of the FPS genre. Everything about it is a simulation of what would happen in real life, including the impacts of every single bullet on both characters and the environment. But I hope the next installment pushes for even more insane physics.

Pretty damn good
Considering this is solely for a contest, and not an official demo of the game. That said, because of the obvious false perception that would come with its release, they should've spruced up the presentation a bit more.

Now I feel a lot better, hehe.

It's a bit odd that Microsoft claimed this was their best Novemember on record.
Yet they sold slightly fewer consoles than last November in North America. They must have made up for that deficit with European sales.
Gamasutra did a good analysis, and their prediction of PS3 pulling ahead of 360 in North America for December 2009 makes sense.

I don't see how anyone could disagree with you.
Everything you stated was true. Then again, some people will defend the Xbox 360's shortcomings to the grave, regardless of how bad it makes them look. So it only has a third of the power of PS3. Big woop. It's still a good gaming system.

No, it doesn't exceed what the PS3 can do.
Or has been doing for the past few years. But it's still good in its own right. We've gotten to a point in gaming history where pretty much every game looks good.

No, Uncharted 2 has outstanding graphics.
Halo Reach looks promising, and this is obviously real-time footage. Despite the fact that 360 exclusives aren't as impressive as PS3 exclusives, I still need to tip my hat to Bungie. I'm hoping that the gameplay has become more realistic. Killzone 2 vastly changed the playing field, and it will be hard for Bungie to ignore some of the innovations presented by that title.
If Halo: Reach has a cover system and solid bullet impact physics, it'll definitely topple Modern Warfare 2.

Really?
It's one of four different PSP models on the market, and there's already 50 million+ PSPs sold worldwide. The platform is already successful. The Go is just a nice option many years into said platform's history.
It does require internet access to download games, but the convenience of not having UMDs should win customers over. Why Sony hasn't advertised the scratch-resistant screen is beyond me. Call it a marketing oversight/failure on their part.

I really like the way PSP GT is laid out.
It's better with the emphasis on custom races, ad-hoc racing, and the License Career. If you can beat that career mode, you are one Hell of a good driver. The only thing that bugs me is that i race against 3 other cars at a time instead of 5 like GT4. But other than that, the graphics are good and the physics are Ridiculously good.

Two names. Piracy and Gamestop.
Developers aren't investing in games for the system because of the huge market for used games, as well as rampant piracy on the system. PSP Go is an experiment to see how Sony can increase profits by fighting the Used Game market, as well as protect developers against piracy.
The PSP 2 will be download-only so long as the PSP Go keeps trucking along.
