New Ratchet & Clank Demo Details

Those who've been aware of some the latest news regarding Ratchet & Clank: Tools of Destruction, should know that a demo was created and finalised for atleast a month now. Angry calls have been based on asking Sony to release the demo such was the lack of new entertainment on the system; however the Senior PR Manager on the Sony Blog has confirmed that the demo will actually launch close to the release date of the game.

As the game is scheduled to be released on October 27th, it's likely we will not see it for atleast another month.

Anyway, it's good news for us all! I'm thinking maybe in September?

if they manage to keep it down , this game will be really big hit.in 360 and ps3 there is lack of AAA title than not aimed at mature gamers apart from the racing games.

Grate another demo is comin soon with the lack of new games at the moment on the store and in the shops it would have been good to release it sooner. im sure the store will take off soon though still playin the DIRT demo released on the usa acount friday....

I'm anticipating how they follow up finally giving us a great update after a long while of not having much to do. Hopefully they keep it up...

I got 3 demos last week :) I'm happy. The dirt demo is very meaty as well.

Yeah the Dirt demo to me anyways seems like the best one out. But the R&C demos should impress too. Hopefully Sony will release some more demos during Leipzig.

yea but they releases jack-squat during E3. What makes you think that Leizpieg will be any different? Once games start coming out, I got a feeling there will be a huge drought of demos until maybe November.

Don't expect it to come out till very late Sept or most likely in Oct.

Why would they release so soon anyways, wouldn't it be better do it right before the game's release, so the game stays fresh in the consumer's mind rather than getting stail and loosing interest in purchasing?

I would expect a WarHawk or Lair Demo first.

Do you think Sony might reveal the TouchSense SIXAXIS at Leipzig game convention? I mean Lair and Heavenly Sword both were moved for September. I would love that!!

Makes sense to release the demo a week or 2 before the game appears in store. Look at the hype BioShock is getting just before it's release thanks to the demo and great reviews.

You could also argue that since Ratchet and Clank franchise is more established and well know that Sony can release the demo any time they want.

i don't need to play the demo, the game will be great. i want to play demos for games i'm not sure i should pick up, or if it's a new franchise.

and i don't care if we can't transfer weapons. i left a box sitting on my controller for four hours to get the RYNO and that was useless in the next game. I didn't need them to let me have it, they had better weapons ready!
