Sony just dropped a bomb. Featuring Heavenly Sword, Uncharted: Drakes Fortune, Ratchet and Clank: Tools of Destruction, Folklore, Eye of Judgement, SOCOM 4 (Giddiness), LittleBigPlanet, Pain, Syphon Filter, Lair, Jeanne D'Arc, Pursuit Force, NBA08, high Velocity Bowling, and Syphon Filter.

OMGoodness it looks amazing.. i cant wait till E3.. that looked as if it showed actual game play... ^^ wow this is a definate pick up when it releases... and did anybody see the trailer for Uncharted:DF... my word it's like it could be a freakin movie. and the gameplay walk through is just amazing... OMG this year i will be broke buying all these PS3 games.. 2007 has so freakin much games coming out... and that FolkLore... fall 2007.. i guess i can skip buying the japanese version and just get it in fall... i dont know why but folklore kinda reminds me of the fable 2 trailer.. i but more flashier... cant wait this looks amazing.. i enjoyed the first fable on xbox, so if folklore is anything like it or better then we have a definate winner for Sony's first in house RPG hit. (not dark Kingdom) and Pain.... wow That to me looks like another attempt at user created content... Just imagine creating some outrageous Sadistic and Massercist level and then submittinhg it over the PSN to download... plus it's a PSN title i honestly think it will be something like LBP... man i'm freakin Stoked about all thats coming out this year..

Socom, Killzone 2, R&C. Uncharted, Ninja Gaiden:Sigma, MGS4, DMC4, Tekken 6, FolkLore, Eye of judgement, GT5, Lair, HS, AC, Ratoulille, GTA4, Warhawk, and a Myriad of PSN titles and new demos like LBP, and FFXIII... man i cant wait thats alot of fuking games coming out this year.. and there were like 3 games i didn't even know they were gonna show.. I wonder what else they are gonna show at E3.. last year they showed 8-days and Uncharted... this year is gonna be huge and should help bring back the love Sony side...

like they have stated before this is a 10 year marathon, not a 6 month sprint, all they need is the time to prove them self just like MS did with the 360... Good job sony You have really perked my interest even more in your software.

Pain looks really intriguing too! By the way, the fly-through sequence in Ratchet really shows off what Cell is capable of. And the animation in Heavenly Sword is just...remarkable. I love how the physics engine enhances the animation, which enhances everything else. (though, I think whoever did the audio for the "Keeping Lookout" video didn't match it up properly)

Uncharted definitely looks like a system seller. Something about the characters just makes them completely likeable, and Naughty Dog is known for surprising us with each new IP.

Watching this footage, I finally feel almost like I did two years ago watching all those trailers....These games are the first that look like they will truly live up to the innovative hype that Sony has been claiming since E3 2005. Finally, games that push a lot more than just nice graphics...I really for the first time in a long time have a desire to run out and buy a ps3 even though I can't yet afford one.

If this is just the beginning, I can't imagine how crazy E3 will be.

Lair was disappointing...you can't even see what you're shooting at. The basic mechanics of the game seem flawed...not a good sign. The graphics were meh but it looked like it was shot from someones cell phone. Drake's looks really fun and immersive. Heavenly Sword is incredible...not my style of game but excellent detail...the debris moving on the ground when she's fighting is very impressive. If you didn't notice it the first time, watch it again. It's worth a second look. Ratchet and Clank looks like it'll be a blast to play as well.

I was really impressed with Drakes Fortune. The water and animations looked real nice. Heavenly Sword looked good too. I felt Lair looked kinda dark, and the framerate seemed choppy. Ratchet and Clank looks like tons of fun, but not as good as in the pics shown earlier. At first I thought Socom was a PSP game, honestly. The graphics didn't impress me at all, but I'm sure it's at a very early stage. Drakes Fortune was the game that stood out IMO.

Its a freakin' kiddy platform game and looks like just above PS2 graphics. I don't get it with that one.

Little Big Planet looks cool, where props need to be given, I'll give them. But system seller? Don't think so.

Heavenly Sword doesn't impress me that much anymore, plus don't see a system seller in it also.

Lair really looked bad compared to what they shown before.

Really much of these games are pretty overhyped. The best thing I saw here was Little Big Planet, but on the other hand buying that as a full priced game... And I think they should show some new MGS4 progress, and what about Killzone 2?

Come on Sony, you can do better. I understand that you SOny fanboys are cheering standing on chairs because the lack of games but it's not that mindblowing

is that(oddly enough) all of these screens and trailers are mostly from games we've all known about, and the new announcements(maybe except for timeshift) haven't been about upcoming heavy-hitters. I like the fact that we're being kept on our toes, makes me anxious for the next big event or press release. I think it's just getting better and better, with no signs of the stampede slowing down. We'll be hitting mach speed soon folks...just be prepared...because I really don't foresee there being a decline in quality and/or content at this stage.

Again, I'm very glad that we're all being blown away by this content from familiar titles. It's testament to there not being too much over-saturation from these games, and leaves plenty of breathing room for future titles to be given the dev-time and TLC that they need to surpass what we have on display today...

I simply cannot wait for new future revelations, and it's been a good day for news so far.

Wow Lair looked horrible...I hope the gameplay is alot more interesting than that. Socom looked pretty bad also...Ghost Recon is easily the better looking and playing game. And what is the big deal of Lil Big Planet??? Looks like Kung Fu Chaos for the original Xbox. Sony better try a lil harder if they want to compete with the 360s exclusives cuz this lineup is not even close.

But I do like Uncharted. I'll keep my eye out for this one. I hope the AI is better than those videos tho.

To those saying Lair looks hard to see what you're shooting. Keep in mind we're only watching a poor quality video camera of that footage, filmed off a TV. Imagine that action with the quality of the screenshots we've seen and your view improves alot. Plus the game does have lock on doesn't it?

Everything looks awesome. HS, uncharted is brilliant (demo is bigger than a DVD), SOCOM looks nice. Sony might have their own GRAW but still too early to know if its thats good.

Still I can say ONE thing. I haven't seen a Sony published title that doesn't look worth buying. Really looking forward to more PSN games. Anyone remember Temco Deception. They should redo that on PSN. Thats what I thought Pain would be when I first heard the name.

But i`ll have to agree with Captain Tuttle, Lair looks a bit unplayable from what i could tell.

- Pain seemed like fun, but i imagine it `ll get a bit repetitive after a while. Should make for an excellent downloadable title nonetheless.
- SOCOM needs works with it`s animations, but it`s early footage if i remember correctly from another tread.

With that said, Heavenly Sword, Ratchet, and Drake all appeared great to me, and Folklore looked okey too (even though it`s form the makers of that crab game, what a shocker).

Sony impressed me today, can`t wait to see what they`ll show at E3

So they just mashed a bunch of trailers and games we already knew about, added a couple and you guys are homering it up like leaf fans after one regular season win.
It's cool, bit the price tag is still almost $1000 CDN after taxes.
Even if people wanted a PS3 it is so ridiculously expensive that it's out of reach for almost all but the richest people in this NA economic market.
The more I see these trailers the more furious I get that the system is so expensive, it's just crippling the PS3. quite Sad indeed.

If you can save enough for an Xbox, you can save enough for a PS3, it just might take longer. Maybe even twice as long.

The more I think about it, the more I think its not the price so much (price is still a big factor) but the lack of games is the main problem. Nearly 4 million people have proved, people are willing to buy PS3 even with that price and hardly any games. It stands to reason more people would be willing to buy at that price if only the games were out.

Well take a look. The games are just around the corner and the faithful are about to be rewarded. By Christmas PS3 is going to be very attractive even without a price cut, but we'll probably get a price cut too.

All I'm saying is that price isn't everything, and dont tell me you can save $700 but $1000 is only for the very rich. I'm just a working guy but I have all the consoles. Getting what you want just means doing what it takes to get it. Plus they came out a year apart. If you can save a grand in a year maybe console shouldn't be your main priority.

This is really going to build the excitement about these games. They should put a commercial out with this line up. PS3's would jump off the shelves, pay for themselves, and float to the homes of gamers (that'd be nice). That line up will move units.

The 360 has a good line up too so there will be a lot of competition but PS3 owners will have a lot of their time tied up in some really great games. I wonder what how the magazine writers are going to rate these...not that it matters I'm buying them anyway. I like to test things out myself, but I am curious.

Has anyone seen any game with bump mapping in sony games? Other than the mud tracks in Motorstorm no other games have shown something what even PDZ and kameo had from the begining.

The most interesting game of the bunch imo was pain. I never heard about it before and it sure looks like a lot of fun. And if it´s a psn-game it´s just goes to show how you should make dl-games. I mean, nintendo and ms come on! Those old games you put out just to make some easy cash really ain´t that funny anymore...
