nothing, it remains un-hacked, and thats even 2 years into its lifetime, the xbox360 managed 6 month, the wii managed 2 weeks for a concept and 6 weeks for a working hack

It just doesn't run pirated games. They've figured out how to dump the Blu-ray data onto the HDD and transfer it, but for some wierd, unknown reason they can't get that data to execute when it's either put back on another person's hard drive or burned to blu-ray.

Short of someone feeling special for being in it and experiencing the new spaces(Uncharted and Far Cry 2), there is not anything of value to do as of yet. If people think that it is ALMOST ready, then take it from a Beta member...we have almost nothing to do but talk(no video,no game joining,no music to play). So how does anyone "IN THE KNOW" expect it to be released soon, when Beta people have yet to test relevant features. Hacking thing is a small bump in the road, compared to small release of testing features to the Beta community.

i think it could come out tomorrow. there was a door in home beta and it was locked and the code to get inside was 1024. they said home would be released in october and it would be within the same week of little big planets release. and this weeks ps3 store update wasint big at all. only thing i noticed was the yoda charactor add on for sciv4. so i think sony will do a bigger update tomorrow and maby go into maintnence or something. it could or couldent happen.

Don't talk about the stock market unless you know what you are talking about. Yes Sony has lost about 60% share value when compared with their 1yr high. If you haven't noticed all stocks are down. A LOT. Just take a look at what the dow is doing. It is making so many sharp drastic shifts all day long, it needs a seasoned sports announcer. At MS current share price they are down 45% from their one year high, but that doesn't really mean anything. They have sunk a lot lower, and everyone still has farther to fall. These sharp changes in the market will mellow out some. right now traders are loosing money all day long. They are forced to trade once long term investments like day traders. When it mellows out, unless there is some huge economic turn around, trading will slow down to a crawl. stocks making little gains and losses because few are buying and selling.

This is a bogus story. There will be no further delay. Even if the only thing we have is a open public beta by the end of 08, we will have some version of Home to mess around in.
