September just got more hardcore and I won't even be able to play that much, I need to go check a game release calendar now.

SPARTAAN5851d ago

looks like september is wayyy tooo packed LBP KZ2 socom and now silent hill

Jinxstar5851d ago

Yeah I mean I guess it's a catch 22... right? I mean release near Xmas and make money but at the same time take a hit by trying to get people to buy your game over others... I will not buy this before KZ2 or LBP for sure....

meepmoopmeep5851d ago

i'm going to wait to see if the development team had what it takes to bring out a really good iteration.
plus if LBP and KZ2 hit att hesame time then... i will have to wait

there will be inevitable delays. September is always the chosen month early in the year. All it really means is that its most likely coming this year.

jkhan5851d ago

Now Sept. just got a lot cooler. Damn I am gonna go broke :(
LBP, Socom, Killzone 2(HOPEFULLY) and now Silent Hill 5 :D One hectic month of gaming:p
By the way I still doubt Killzone 2 will release in the same month as Socom. Reason being Socom is total multiplayer and Killzone 2 will have a huge multiplayer part. So they won't want to split there consumers. May be Killzone 2 is pushed till October.

Thank you GTA4, I don't know what would I have done with out you :p
Bubbles for you mate:)

Lord_Ash5851d ago

Ok Why? Why would they announce more games for this year, this year is packed people get your schedule for next year, or you got your selves to blame if the game sells poorly.

I mostly disagree with Downpour's position. Yeah, the game is not amazing by any stretch of the imagination but is much better than the HD Collection and Homecoming. The main issue is the performance, but that was mitigated by the patches, especially on the PS3. Personally, I put it a little behind Origins and The Room.

Having Restless Dreams as a different entry from Silent Hill 2 is also a choice.

bfrye26185d ago

Normally, we would not consider it a different game (Restless Dreams), but since it had a very different critical reception and had new content, it was allowed. As for Downpour, I would agree, but since that one is subjective, we let him make his case for the placement.

silent hill 2 is definitely the best one out of those.

for me personally, the whole ritual/cult stuff was always so weird to me in all the other games.

CrimsonWing69185d ago

No disrespect but I put SH2 over 1. 1 is fantastic, but 2 took it all up a level.

bfrye26184d ago

We agree, that is why the writer put it in top place!

Pyramid Head is my #1 too, despite the fact you don't actually fight him much - and the few times you do are actually super easy. It's all in the presentation & close encounters.

Auron543d ago

Pyramid head? please.. whatever was in that silent hills trailer is #1

Gardenia543d ago

I never thought the monsters themselves were very scary. It was the tension and the unknown, the silent moments that got under your skin that were the most scary to me.
Silent Hill has always been about the psychological horror more than it's gore.

I had no idea Binary Domain was backwards compatible. I know what I'm downloading.

JayRyu662d ago

I would like El Shaddi, Afterburner Climax, and outrun 2 please. I am sure that there are other games as well but those came to mind for me right now.
