"Following the earlier announcement from Rockstar Games about the release date for the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of Grand Theft Auto IV, French website Jeux Expo is reporting that the PC version of the game will be launched in Europe in October 2008."
Huzaifa from eXputer: "2008 was home to the likes of Call of Duty: World at War, Dead Space, GTA 4, Far Cry 2, Left 4 Dead, and many other hits, which is outright remarkable."
Just about every year in the 7th generation was great and something we most likely won't experience again.
2009 for example had Assassin's Creed 2, Batman: Arkham Asylum, Dragon Age: Origins, Uncharted 2, Halo 3: ODST, Killzone 2, Borderlands, Bayonetta, and Demon's Souls to name a few.
As we have all been graced by the release of Grand Theft Auto 6's trailer, we're ranking the best and worst GTA trailers to date.

Grand Theft Auto 4 is an important game for Rockstar, not least because it was the first title in the franchise to use the newly created RAGE engine.
I won't hold my breath for this rumour to come true. It is a well known fact that Rockstar threw all it's toys out of the pram over the Hot Coffee incident (which was their fault). However hopefully this rumour will force Rockstar to come out and tell us the reason why they are treating their fanbase with such contempt.
this is just a rumuor, Rockstar would have announced it along with the release date. this is false, "launched in europe"? and not the states? idiots.
Of course it will come out for PC. All previous GTAs came out for PC some time after the console versions and all sold well enough.
It should have been a simultaneous launch. Afterall, 360 and PC architecture is so similar already.
I somehow doubt this, at least not for a while.
