IGN: Jeep Thrills Review

Dear Lordy, save yourself a sliver of sanity by never even thinking about playing this game. No amount of money, however miniscule is worth dropping to even see how bad the game is. It's bad, and not in that fun "oh, look how crappy this is!" kind of way, it's just boring and lifeless. Sure it's a racing game in the sense that you push a button to move forward, but that's about the extent of the game's depth.

Aussie Nintendo - Jeep Thrills Review

Aussie Nintendo - I like the trees in this game. I really, really do. Or rather, I like some of the trees in this game – the purple ones. These trees stand out with their inexplicable glowing branches, almost like sickles that have cut into something unknown. Merely catching them in the corner of your eye makes it almost impossible not to veer off the road into their warm, Grimace-like embrace.

WorthPlaying: Jeep Thrills Review

WorthPlaying writes: "Jeep Thrills fails to live up to the premise of its own title, which is to give players a thrilling ride on Jeep vehicles. The bland graphics and lackluster sound fail to inspire the player to race. While the controls are easy to pick up, the track designs are too simple and fail to match the AI in giving the player any type of challenge. If this title were released early on the PS2 life cycle, it would have been considered a pretty lackluster game. Now, the game can't even reach that level considering the breadth of racing titles already on the system. No matter how tempting it might be, leave Jeep Thrills on the shelves and go back to some of the older, better racing titles on the system".

Impulse Gamer Review: Jeep Thrills

With a clichéd yet clever name, Jeep Thrills is a basic no frills racing game for the Nintendo Wii that allows the gamer to race cross country from the jungles of Central America to the frozen Alaskan tundra which is actually very diverse in terms of environments and for a racing game.

If you think this game sounds familiar, that's because Jeep Thrills was originally a PlayStation 2 game that unfortunately didn't fare too well on this console. Unfortunately, again, the Nintendo Wii version is a little lackluster when compared to other third party racing games. Even so, Jeep Thrills is aimed at the budget market which questions the scales of purchasing an old game as compared to one that is lacking its merits.
