Steve Myers of iRacing.com revealed that the company has signed two new license deals. There were already some hints a few months back and today the long wait is finally over as the NGTC Honda Civic from the British Touring Car Championship and the Honda HSV-010 GT from the Japanese Super GT series are coming to the simulation.
Snerdaperds attempts to coin a new term, Sim-phoria. He states,“a game or activity that simulates a real-life activity in such a way that it is inherently more engaging and fun than the actual activity that it is supposedly simulating through arcadification.” He continues, refining the term, and talking about Super Mega Baseball 2, and other games that fit the description.

Here is a comparison video between the real and the virtual Twin Ring Motegi that has just been released by iRacing. The virtual version has incorporated the new shader effect in the sim to give a much more realistic shadow effect both on the road surface and also the surrounding area. In the video, the comparison is using the popular iRacing Star Mazda car.
