Snerdaperds attempts to coin a new term, Sim-phoria. He states,“a game or activity that simulates a real-life activity in such a way that it is inherently more engaging and fun than the actual activity that it is supposedly simulating through arcadification.” He continues, refining the term, and talking about Super Mega Baseball 2, and other games that fit the description.
Higher Eclectic Ground goes back in time to track how a pair of British IRacing enthusiasts went onto create the first, most intricately designed Sim-Racing Touring Car championship in Europe.
Steve Myers of iRacing.com revealed that the company has signed two new license deals. There were already some hints a few months back and today the long wait is finally over as the NGTC Honda Civic from the British Touring Car Championship and the Honda HSV-010 GT from the Japanese Super GT series are coming to the simulation.
I like the graphical improvements that iRacing League has been implementing over time!
Sure the game is no where near the graphical fidelity of Project Cars but they have made nice improvements.
