Damn. I was hoping this would happen faster. Control were both fantastic, albeit flawed. Hoping for more. I know he said they are planning sequels, but its hard to get investors and publishers on board when they don't see quick returns.
For how much people talk about this title you would think it was a much bigger success. Popularity doesn't equal quality and vice versa tho
Remedy Entertainment provided a progress update on its projects. The Control spinoff and Max Payne remakes are now in 'production readiness'.
They are the literal corporate version of Anita Sakeesian. Companies hire them in to "fix" their scripts for the "modern audience". They also "provide sensitivity reading".
They were on the ground floor developing the script of Spider-Man 2 and alan Wake.

I’m sure no developer will downplay their own game. Tho I am looking forward to part 2.
I have confidence in Remedy not to mess this up. This is going to be a top class game.
Considering Remedy’s track record and the first Alan Wake, expectations are really high for AW2.
