NCSoft Making Sci-fi MMO for the PS3?

July 2007, SCEA entered into an exclusive game development deal with NCsoft, which is one of the world's leading developers and publishers of Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game (MMORPG). New job postings now show the possible fruits of the deal.

Once again Mircrosoft drops the ball again. MS has the relationships and the online to make good MMOs and yet the PS3 has a slight lead in that department with this NCsoft game, the agency, and the superhero MMO.

What relationship? If you know anything about MS it's well documented that they're the WORST company to partner with when it comes to MMO. Everything they touched turned into crap.

Vanguard: Epic fail.

The only company with a worst MMO record is EA. They somehow managed to sink The Sims Online, which should've been licsense to print their own money and some space game made by the developer of Command and Conquer.

The movie is based on human fighting very large bugs in another planet and i don't know about u but it was fricken awesome!!!!!!

So a ps3 mmo of fighting bugs would be awesome aswell.

IMAGINE FIGHTING A HORDE OF BUGS COMING FROM THE LANDSCAPE A FEW MILES AWAY SHOOTING THEM BESIDE ALL OF YOU'RE GAMING PALS.

I REALLY DON'T SAY THIS ALOT AND IF I HAVE IT'S BECAUSE I WAS JOKING BUT THIS MIGHT BE BETTER THAN HALO.

TR sucks and that game will not be a good fit for the PS3 unless you plan playing it with a mouse and keyboard. So far the only game that they can port directly is Dungeon Runners.

I'm intrested as well how this MMO stuff will work on PS3, how much they are going to charge, cause most Ps3 users are use to not paying for online gaming.

Most of the ps3 crowd are used to free online play. With that said, they'll probably take their guild wars approach to their ps3 games and make them free of charge to play online

That's a possibility as well, with some sort of advertisement (Sort of like home) to cover the costs...

Something like $10 a month, all the SOE/NCSoft MMO's you want. Sony currently has this type of package deal on the PC side, for one fee you can play any of the SOE MMO's.

I hope this game is free like Guild Wars. I can't wait to hear more on this game and if it is on the PS3 that is even better.
