OXCGN:
"With the recent release of Binary Domain, which has in many reviews and articles been compared to Gear of War 3, we thought it would be a good idea to put them up against each other and see just how similar they actually are.
For those of you that don’t know, both of them are 3 person shooters and at first glance do look and feel rather similar.
We’re going to break it down though and see which is worth more of your time and more importantly, your money!
For those who don't have time for massive open worlds or role-playing games with epic tales, these 15 games are worth checking out.
Gears of War 3 and Judgement servers have returned to their "updated" condition, adding several features, such as increased XP and more.
I currently play Gears 3 often, especially after the 60 FPS Boost. Gears of War is my favorite gaming franchise, and the Locusts are the coolest faction in history. Gears Judgment will always be a disgrace for not having the Locust in VS multiplayer.
GoW 3 and Judgement were the last installments before the series went woke and soulless. I'm level 50 in GoW 3 and LOVE it's multiplayer to death. It's just so crispy.
GF365: "Here are our picks for the ten most underrated third-person shooters that you might not have played before or even known about."
Actually great list TBH I agree with all 10
I hope one day we get some remakes for the following
The saboteur(with a proper remake and quality of life features this game could be great)
Scarface world is yours
Binary domain ( such a great game with great story)
GUN(this needs a remake)
Space marine 40k(such fun time)
Would also like to suggest adding the mercenary series even the 2nd game which is disliked by many is a fun time
I recently finished Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine and found it to be very enjoyable.
The game respected the lore and the gameplay was quite decent.
The color palette was a bit underwhelming (backdrops and setting) and recycled but I think that it deserved better.
Here's hoping for an amazing sequel
Binary Domain just didn't seem interesting to me. I probably missed out on a good game, but there are just so many shooters I can do!
One of the things I liked, particularly in Gears 1 and 3, were the gameplay environments.
Binary Domain looks like a bland sci fi shooter. I know I shouldn't base everything on looks, but new IPs will get missed if they don't do something with the atmosphere like the awesome-looking upcoming shooter Dishonoured.
Vanquish win.
gears.
uncharted wins.
