Eurogamer writes:
"It's not as sophisticated as more recent Front Mission games, but since most people in Europe won't have played too many of those, that doesn't matter so much. More problematic is the amount of effort that players will have to put in before they're able to take any pleasure from the game. But, then, that's why it's so good. And that's why it's still relevant today, and more than just a historical curiosity."

Front Mission 1st, a remake of Square Enix’s classic SNES tactical RPG, is coming to the PS4 following a period of Switch timed exclusivity. The spruced up HD re-release first launched on Nintendo’s hybrid hardware late last year, but now Trophies have started to populate on Sony’s servers, suggesting a PS4 port announcement is imminent.
Good thing I kept putting Front Mission for Switch off. Now let me play Harvestella for trophies.
Please tell me a Steam release is on the cards too, I could get it on Playstation, but I'd rather Steam (either way, I can remove it from my Switch wishlist).
The release date, as well as other details, have been revealed for the Front Mission 1st Wander Arts Zenith Variant Action Figures.
Square Enix seems to be fully determined to bring back a few of its most glorious mecha franchises, but maybe not in the way most fans would expect.
