It's going to be amazing, get great reviews and good sales but after seeing everything (trailers, behind the scenes, images) I still can't say this is a true Max Payne sequel......the New York levels are perfect then you see the Bruce Willis wannabe with his bright clothing and sunny setting and it's like, "WTF has happened to Max".

The thing about Rockstar is they've come to a point now where they know there so liked that it's basicaly "Oh stuff them they'll buy our games anyway, were Rockstar"

I hope this won't turn out like GTA4, where people will buy and review it on hype and because it's a rockstar game then 6-8 months later come out with their true feelings that it wasn't as good as past GTA games.

Max Payne with a shaved head it doesnt feel right at all and it should be in Alaska or something like that not in some sunny country that´s the complete opposite of the Noir feel.

Brazil can be very dark and crime ridden. Its not parades year round.
Ill give them the benefit of the doubt, but a large "darker" city would have been better IMO.

It's a Rockstar game and all of their games this gen have sucked (aside from maybe Red Dead Redemption but that wasn't from Rockstar North). A Max Payne game from Rockstar will suck just as much (so will GTA5 as it will be nothing but a GTA4 rehash anyways and that game was garbage too).

I'm sure it will be awesome.. Rockstar always makes great games i have faith in them

Ex-Rockstar Dev Finally Explains Why Small Planes Randomly Crashed in GTA San Andreas

Former Rockstar Games Technical Director Obbe Vermeij has finally revealed why some planes would randomly crash in GTA: San Andreas.

Profchaos24d ago

This fly by feature was on the cutting room floor due to the random plane crashes and it's one of those things I'm so thankful made it into the final version as these random fly by and crashes make the world seem more alive on the extremely limited PS2 hardware you needed everything you could possibly get in a open world to convey that feeling.

And accross hundreds of hours of gameplay I probably died around 3 times as a result of these fly by failures but I loved every time it happened

isarai24d ago (Edited 24d ago )

It made the world feel more human, and honestly kinda insane that even today with all these open world games, almost no one can capture that like R* even when compared to their ps2 games

Lol, I remember those. I vaguely remember dying from one crashing into my car once too.

Will never forget these games on the PS2 and Xbox. Max Payne 3 was awesome, more so the arcade mode.

Can’t wait to replay these games with updated graphics.

Would also like a remastered Max Payne3.

Knightofelemia113d ago

Hope it's done better then the GTA trilogy.

EazyC113d ago

Indeed - and if it is another shameless cash grab, they shouldn't bother. It's an insult to these classic games.
