Is it just me or has Playboy posted the best choices for winners of all sites and mags?

IHATEGOD5981d ago

ya you might be right, but I can't agree with GOTY Bioshock. It was a fun game but when you beat on insane, you realize that it took you 7 hours to do. Plus no multiplayer hurts, especially when you've got COD4 out there with great single player and one of if not the best multiplayer game out there. One thing, where's the love for the PS3 exclusives?

Real Gambler5981d ago (Edited 5981d ago )

So we are likely getting those choices, not from those guys, but likely from their kids. And as you said, from what they have read on the web themself!

Not bad choices, but they should play with their babes and leave our games alone : )

P.S.: I guess we now know what Round Peg visit when he is not on N4G...

CH-OutbreaK5981d ago

They have. but honestly, where are the ps3 and wii exclusives? There are a bunch of good games that a lot of site missed out on. Don't even get me started on gamespot. they didn't even nominate U:DF or R&CF:TOD for anything other than the ps3 awards. Really, honestly, bullspit.

SpaceCowgirl5981d ago

This article would have been way more fun and interesting if it were written by actual playboy bunnies.

funkeystu5981d ago

Rock Band most innovative? Its just a more competent and prettier rehash of guitar hero but with more instruments :/
And Assasains Creed had about 10 lines of writing, and then just repeated it 9 times - surely not best writing nominee material.
Oh well, you just know there's gonna be some odd inclusions when more than 1/2 the judges are named Scott.

Why MW 2019 is still the best looking Call of Duty to date

MW 2019 is five years old at this point and on previous gen hardware, but it is still the best looking Call of Duty game to date.

MW was an excellent videogame. They messed up Spec Ops big time, but aside from this it was a huge step in the right direction initially. Most notably, at launch it seemed to come from a very cohesive creative vision that was felt across gameplay, to story to art style/visual direction. It was also very notably written by prominent ex-Naughty Dog guys that quit almost immediately before release.

That COMPLETELY dissolved through post-launch content and the full pivot to a "cross-mode" narrative that completely obliterated the cohesion in overall story direction. Warzone then "became" the new face of Call of Duty and the franchise completely removed itself from anything remotely creatively "good". It is a pure money machine, so I kinda get why they're doing it....but I personally completely lost interest.

I would love to see Infinity Ward move off CoD and get to make their own product with full control. They clearly have some massive talent in their ranks but it's perverted by Activision's corporate interests.

PlayStation 3 Games That Desperately Need a PS5 Remaster

The PlayStation 3 may not have been the strongest generation for Sony, but there were still some diamonds in the rough that deserve a revisit as PS5 remasters.

Even if they could just remaster and put on PSVR2, some would still look great as VR titles and could do a whole lot to bolster the headset w these exclusives! I'd imagine the investment of reworking these titles into VR would be way less than building new games from the ground up, and they could be amazing experiences, and VR often makes flat games feel fresh again. The Resistance and Killzone games are particularly what I want to see!!

Rude-ro67d ago

I played killzone 3 in 3d and it really changed the game per being immersive.
In vr, that would be even more awesome.

Funny you mention that... my son wanted to play some PS3 games in 3d on my PS tv and he was blown away by how good KZ3 was. It really was a great addition to the game. Im surprised there have not been more 3d games from that era being ported to the PSVR/VR2.

_SilverHawk_67d ago

resistance 1-3, killzone 1-3, uncharted 1-3, uncharted golden abyss, folklore, socom 4 , motorstorm, twisted metal, MAG, heavenly sword

Killzone 2+3
Sly Thieves in Time
Crack in Time
God of War Ascension
Motorstorm
Modnation racer
Infamous 1+2

Killzone trilogy in VR would be amazing bonus points if they offer shadow fall.

There was a psvr1 Killzone project that supermassive was working on at one stage which wasn't up to scratch and Sony brand it back in house I was hoping we would see that on psvr2 eventually.

Personally I'd love to see some more love or acknowledgement of psvr2 from Sony in general it was a expensive headset and Sony barely acknowledge it's existence

The amount of work needed to remaster these games wouldn't be beneficial on a financial and business sense.. MGS4 would probably be the best bet as it would need the least amount of work!

Iceball200067d ago

YEAAASSSSS! I miss this franchise and wanna play it so bad again.

Father__Merrin67d ago

The time is perfect for a resistance fall of man game campaign coop multiplayer

InUrFoxHole67d ago

The resistance series is str8 trash to me. Socom 3 I would welcome. Or killzone MP.

Marcus Fenix67d ago

A Resistance reboot will be awesome

Michiel198967d ago

That's what Bungie should make, Ill keep saying it until it happens

1Victor67d ago (Edited 67d ago )

Resistance was ok but Warhawk and Starhawk was better and kept me coming back for almost a decade of fun and petty revenge on the loud mouth unskilled players 🤣
Edit I loved capture the flag dropping the pot on the flag carrier was extremely satisfying as well as transforming your plane in bot form and stumping them to death 😱

Resistance was the best co-op fps I ever played after L4D2
