ActionTrip, Dec 19 2007:
The year 2008 is practically around the corner and there are plenty of games ActionTrip thinks you should be on the lookout for. Instead of getting into the details about each game individually, ActionTrip decided to single-out what they feel are the top candidates for making an impact in a specific genre. So, without further ado, let's check out what awaits us next year.

It turns out that many moons ago, Microsoft once had its eye on the Sony published LittleBigPlanet series.
Microsoft in a nutshell. Always tried to poach Sony employees, games, 3rd party games and devices like the depth camera that was turned into Kinect but was running on PS2 before Xbox 360. Wouldn't be surprised they wanted LBP. Just like they worked behind the scenes pushing the MLB to bring Sony's baseball game to Xbox instead of making their own.

They didn't spend years trying to develop their own baseball game. They wanted Sony's game.
They're scum.
"However, Healey said Media Molecule wouldn't have felt right doing that, adding it would have been "morally corrupt"."
Major kudos to Media Molecule for being an upright studio with principles.
Great, more stories like this please. Show the last of the zombies holding the line what we've been saying for years: Microsoft is anti competition, anti industry and has no interest in making games at all.
But hey, at least there's an Xbox Games Showcase to look forward to, right?
Well considering SONY just killed the series, LBP would've been dead by now either way. Though MM probably wouldn't exist by now either, so I'm glad they stayed with SONY, hopefully they don't get shut down any time soon or ever honestly.
Amazon has announced its gaming lineup for May 2024 and it is one of the better months especially if you are an Amazon Prime subscriber.
I have Amazon Prime hardly ever use it and these games will not make me jump back to Prime.
Only use Prime for discounts on shipping.

Games line-up looks Highly Promising.
Yeah if you Never played those games before.
or you just started gaming for the First time in your life it would seem "Promising "
Huzaifa from eXputer: "2008 was home to the likes of Call of Duty: World at War, Dead Space, GTA 4, Far Cry 2, Left 4 Dead, and many other hits, which is outright remarkable."
Just about every year in the 7th generation was great and something we most likely won't experience again.
2009 for example had Assassin's Creed 2, Batman: Arkham Asylum, Dragon Age: Origins, Uncharted 2, Halo 3: ODST, Killzone 2, Borderlands, Bayonetta, and Demon's Souls to name a few.
2008 will be another stellar year for the Xbox 360, with so many AAA titles coming out for the system compared to its competition and with the expectation of a price cut sometime in 2008 the Xbox 360 is in great shape for another year of sales growth.
Only Xbox 360 provides gamers with a stellar lineup in 2008 of such depth and breadth that gamers will be satisfied with numerous AAA titles from January to December. It is widely expected that the Xbox 360s impressive lineup will see little resistance from the PS3 in 2008 as many of its titles are expected to be pushed back in 2009 thanks to development problems on the console due to the poor design of its architecture.
I think Jeff Bell Corporate VP of Global Marketing says it best when he says that the Xbox 360 "would trade places with no one".
Looking at the fantastic lineup Xbox 360 gamers and enthusiasts have in 2008, Jeff is right yet again

with so many good wii games coming out...2008 will be the year the wii really creates a big sales gap from the competition
You've never had a girlfriend have you? :'(
*sniff sniff*
Besides I don't see how you came about that conclusion since pretty much all the top picks in that list were PS3 games, odd that you'd think otherwise. Maybe you didn't read the article, oh well.

I think Phil Harrison says it best when he says that the PS3 "new and exicting things coming for YOUR PS3".
Looking at the fantastic lineup PS3 gamers and enthusiasts have in 2008, Phil is right yet again
Phil then adds "a 1.4 billion payout is really a step back for that other system"
then gamers add
"Huxley looks like Caslte Wolfenstien and Allen Wake is still 12months away"
