Rhythm Heaven Fever may look like a casual music game, but the amount of skill it requires makes it much more than that.
In honor of the recently announced Rhythm Heaven for 3DS and everyone’s ongoing obsession with Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, Random Nintendo presents a mash-up of the two. Watch as Little Mac fights the likes of Pikachu, Ganondorf, and Captain Falcon in perfect rhythm.
Edge Online: Remember the weird language used by the D’ni people in the Myst series? It was a thing of beauty, and added an interesting layer to the game. Those are not the main reasons why I liked it, though. What I really liked was knowing that the developers had bothered to create it, and had done so with a depth and commitment that frankly made them heroic. But I am a sucker for that sort of thing. I’m the kid who reckoned the best thing about the Star Wars films was the languages. Heck, they even needed subtitles. Swoon! So naturally I imagine the Myst guys had a similar mindset to me and loved the challenge of making up their language as well.
I'll have to replay Myst someday. I don't think I fully appreciated the amount of detail that went into that game/series when I first played it as a child.
Do you ever have one of those days where you want to sit at home and do nothing but play video games? What if you were given that chance but the condition was that the moment you turned that game on you will have to finish that game in a single sitting. Well that is what quirky girl group Crayon Pop set about doing when they featured as guests on a long running cable game show.
It would appear as though the only thing about this program and its participants that is actually Japanese is the game Rhythm Heaven itself. Though I live in Korea, this is the first time I've seen this show. I'm surprised to see that they have somewhat high profile idol groups as guests. Curious to see if they have more "involved" games played with consoles other than the Wii.
Does this mean Woody Harrelson and Wesley Snipes will be in the Rhythm Heaven movie?
