Ever since 2005, EA and most notably Madden, has been the only way to get NFL action. But EA is not the only exclusive deal that the NFL has made a bed with. Blame the NFL and NFLPA executives for being lazy and not wanting to deal with multiple contracts instead opting for one large deal with little hassle.

I mean the fact stuff happened outside of work puts EA in quite a difficult position legally. These women don't seem to have reported the matter to the police which kinda ties EA's hands on what they can do. If they don't file reports of the crimes then yeah from EA's perspective it is stuff that happened outside of work. The only exception is the guy that apparently referenced things in the slack channel for work, spending on what he said proving it may be very hard and he may well be able to get away with plausible deniability. I don't like EA and I think these people need to be dismissed but without any legal action being taken, EA can't really do much without risk of being sued themselves for unfair dismissal etc.

Though i agree the ai thing is already in other forms of media there have been ai translations/scripts/voice over and even full ai commercials aired on tv. Ubisoft has created a ai game creator story/vo/music except the building of the game

Remember when EA used to be awesome? It's all over with now. Unpolished, if not out-right broken games these days. Endless monetization and gambling in their sports games, and let's not forget wasting hours of your life trying to unlock characters or equipment using "surprise boxes!"
i blame the gamers that run out and buy this game every year. if they stop supporting EA and their BS maybe Ea will start doing right by this franchise and start listening to the fans of the sport.
EA's sales on Madden have been declining each year. But EA was smart because they got the exclusive right before the PS3 and 360 came out. I'd still be playing NFL2K if there was a next gen version of it.
It's not so much a fault as much as the NFL doesn't care and EA isn't giving up a monopoly.
its a shame the last good Madden game was 2004. its a shame that 2K5 was the last proper NFL game. its a shame how sports game turned out this gen.
